It was 1846. The Name of the Lord was being blasphemed by those who used it in contempt;
or as the Virgin stated to two shepherd children at La Salette in 1848,
inserted between commond words as a curse.
So the Lord Jesus appeared to a humble nun.
Notice the pattern? It does not change.
When Jesus and Mary want to make a statement to the world, they do not appear to
televangelists or radio personalities. They appear to the humble, meek and unknown.
In this case, the visionary's name was Sister Marie Pierre,
a Carmelite nun who had given the Lord everything.
When Jesus appeared to her, he told Sister Marie that He was
sick and tired of those who use His Name in vain.
He warned that reparation needed to be made if the world was not to be chastised.
No one would listen to Sister Marie.
Not the archbishop.
Not the people.
Was a chastisement against the world rendered as the Lord stated
and the Virgin predicted at La Salette?
Has anyone ever heard of World War I?
Jesus has continually warned that wars are permitted by God as a chastisement for mankind's sins.
Eventually, through the work of the Holy Man of Tours (as he was known due
to the miraculous cures he was associated with because he venerated the Holy Face of Jesus),
Leo Dupont brought Sister Marie's revelations to light and eventually secured approval
by Church authorities that the revelations were messages
from God and should be adhered to by all who love the Lord.
In fact, because of Sister Marie Pierre's visions and statements of the Lord to her,
Pope Leo XIII approved the Archconfraternity of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus.
But that was the 19th century.
Has it gotten better or worse since then?
Have people learned their lesson and stopped using the Lord's Name in vain?
Or is this crime propagated by our media in a continuous fashion?
Do movies, videos and games that are fed to our children often contain the
casual use of the Lord Jesus' Name without reverence or care?
There is a remedy for this.
It is NOT provided for by us.
It is just, in great thanksgiving, our honor to communicate
it to those who may wish to engage in the reparation.
The remedy for this sin was provided for by HIM to Sister Marie Pierre.
In the first instance, Jesus told Sister Marie that whenever we hear His Name used in vain,
we can respond with the prayer,
Admirable is the Name of the Lord!
Jesus told sister we have no idea how powerful this remedy is in the eyes of Heaven.
The Lord also told Sister Marie Pierre that there was another way for us to make
reparation in regard to this evil crime that continues,
despite chastisements, to proliferate around our globe.
He told her we can say another prayer that would make reparation to His Holy Face
for the insults that are heaped upon it every day by an ungrateful creation.
Jesus called this the Golden Arrow Prayer.
In these approved messages to Sister Marie, Jesus said that those who say this prayer
would release a Golden Arrow from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
an Arrow that would strike the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Heart of our Lord would then shed graces;
graces that will be poured out upon sinners for their conversion.
And when, and if, we get to Heaven, the Lord Jesus will ask us
how many souls did we help Him save.
Hopefully, we will answer with at least one, our own.
But after that test, if we pass, He will then make an accounting of how many others
we helped save by giving Him the power to do so through the prayers He requires.
You see these prayers are not for believers; they are for those who do not believe.
And while Jesus does not need us to save souls, He wants and loves for us to assist Him.
Our eternal rewards will be based not on our 401K plan, but on how many souls we help Him save.
So we can help Him save these souls.
The souls of the unbelievers.
He has promised it, not us.
But we can only be ASSURED we are helping Him by saying the prayers He requested;
not the prayers we wish to say.
Do you want to help Jesus save souls?
Do you want to make reparation to His Holy Name and His Holy Face?
Do you want to take aim at the Lord's Sacred Heart?
It's simple; it's easy; and it's quick.
The Lord specifically requested that this prayer be said on Tuesdays in honor of His Holy Face.
But He said you can also say it anytime, anywhere and anyplace if you desire.

The need to save souls knows no boundary by days of the week.
You, however, as the Lord Jesus promised, will receive great graces for saying it on Tuesdays.
And great eternal rewards for helping to save the most precious of God's creation: souls.
