Is It of God or Blasphemy?
“And when the days of the Pentecost were accomplished,
they were all together in one place:
And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven,
as of a mighty wind coming,
and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
And there appeared to them parted tongues as it were of fire,
and it sat upon every one of them:
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and they began to speak with divers tongues,
according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak.
Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem, Jews, devout men,
out of every nation under Heaven.
And when this was noised abroad,
the multitude came together, and were confounded in mind,

We are now living in such an incredible time when the Word of God has been so perverted that lies are substituted for Truth and the Truth is publicly called a “lie.”
This is why we are such staunch defenders of the Shroud. It is the perfect example of what we are trying to discuss here. The world believes the cloth is a lie and the Truth about the cloth is publicly pronounced as “lies.”
This, as anyone knows who visits our web site, is the Great Spiritual Battle, as it is completely obvious to any true believer that the father of lies, the enemy of Jesus and mankind, is still, as the Scriptures teach us until the return of the Lord, in control of the kingdoms of the world.
One of these kingdoms is the mass media.
This does not mean the people in the media are “satanists” or “devil-worshippers.” What it means is that they have accepted a lie for the Truth.
They love, under the guise of “liberty,” different false doctrines other than Catholicism; or, as we like to remind people, lies vs. the Truths of the 1st-millennium Universal Church.
Today, in the Great Spiritual Battle, people in the mass media get paid big $$$ to publicly promote belief in doctrines known as “atheism,” “agnosticism,” “secular humanism,” “communism,” “socialism,” “protest-ant-ism,” etc. We don’t care what anyone calls it, but there is an “ism” attached to everyone’s belief.
And we all have a belief.
It is no wonder that the Mother of God, the Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary, has told Father Gobbi, of the Marian Movement of Priests, in Church-approved messages to him, that the “idol” the Book of Apocalypse speaks of — an idol that is set up for mankind to worship in the place of God — is nothing more than our television sets, which virtually dominate every home in the world!
For on it, who do we see and idolize? God or the creature?
What doctrines are taught to people on the “idol”?
Now, as when we have repeated this message before, please, as we said about the movie the Matrix, don’t boycott TV or not watch it. This is where we, as followers of the Lord and His Mother, must be completely cognizant of our environment and not stick our heads in the sand, but be spiritually astute enough to speak boldly and coherently as we combat the lies of the evil one.
This is the key to the title of our article.
On the idol, we watch as so often protest-ant ministers enthrall their “congregations” with their doctrines and interpretation of “speaking in tongues.”
As we all know, this interpretation has people “babbling” like idiots in a “language” no one understands. But this, according to these heretics, is the “gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Liars!
To “babble” is to “utter meaningless, confused words or sounds.”
Is our God a God of “confusion”?
The Holy Spirit does not make people babble like idiots, nor as we see with so many fake so-called “faith-healers,” does He make people writhe on the ground like a snake!
When we were coming home to the Lord from our days as wandering spirits, we explored many avenues as so many others followed. We will never forget the day when we were invited to a pentecostal-type meeting where the host promised to have someone teach those who wished how to speak in “tongues.” We didn’t know it was a trained skilled one has to be taught by a minister or anyone else. We don’t recall reading in the Bible where it says people would be told to “let go” and allow the Holy Spirit to take over so that they could “babble” in “tongues.”
We missed that part. It seems to be lacking in any version of Scripture we read.
So we got up and walked out of that “meeting,” and, not surprisingly, no one from that group wished to speak with us anymore — for we had “rejected” the “gift.” We truly believe that our rejection of this false “babel” (“a confusion of voices or sounds”) was a test of our Lord that we passed — not that we pass many of them!
As a result of “passing” this test and “rejecting” this false theology, the Lord began to bring us closer to Him and His Mother. We cannot be more grateful.
Yet, we watched in amazement as, this weekend, once again, on the idol, in a story about the Apostles Peter and Paul, a “scholar” told the Public Broadcasting Station (PBS) audience — that means our U.S. tax dollars have contributed to this junk — that if we went to a “pentecostal” church today, we would experience what the Apostles experienced on that Holy Day almost two millennia ago.
We are surrounded by liars.
Later in the evening, as we watched a so-called “religious” broadcasting channel, an up-and-coming “evangelical” televangelist enraptured his “flock” with his story about how “speaking in tongues” saved his life! This moron, whose “services” we once actually attended to check out what was going on as his ministry is one of the fastest-growing in the country and because protest-ant friends of ours were enamored with him, is feeding nothing but garbage to poor unsuspecting souls who are desperate to get close to the Lord. (And, yes, this is how we can help some of our protest-ant brothers and sisters by showing them, in person, where their “pastor” is wrong! Our friends have since become close to Mary!)
Instead, these poor people — and we mean that literally — who follow these televangelists give their money to these idiots and find, as many of those we have talked to who were burnt by this “pastor,” that they have not glorified God, but, instead, have been fleeced. Their $$$ has gone to enriching the “pastor’s” lifestyle and spreading his personal — not Gospel — message.
As we approach the true Pentecost, let us all remember — lest we find ourselves committing the sin against the Spirit that Jesus warned is “unforgivable” — that the Holy Ghost DOES NOT MAKE PEOPLE BABBLE LIKE IDIOTS IN SPEECH OR IN A SO-CALLED “PRAYER” IN AN UNCONTROLLED TONGUE!
The Scripture clearly teaches and states that when Peter and the Apostles were given the “Gift of Tongues,” those around them did not hear gibberish!
The “devout men” of Jerusalem heard the Apostles “speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God!”
That means those who spoke Greek heard Greek! Those who spoke Latin heard Latin! Those who spoke Hebrew heard Hebrew! Those who spoke Aramaic heard Aramaic! Etc., etc.
And lest any biblical idiot start to quote the Apostle Paul on us, let us quote him to them first on the “Gift of Tongues”:
“But now brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either in revelation, or in knowledge, or in prophecy, or in doctrine? … So likewise you, except you utter by the tongue PLAIN SPEECH, how shall it be known what is said? … And therefore, he that speaketh by a tongue, let him pray that he may interpret. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is without fruit. What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, I will pray also with the understanding. … I thank my God that I speak with all your tongues [in other words, the language of the people]. But in the Church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may instruct others also; then ten-thousand words in a tongue. … Wherefore, tongues are for a sign, not to believers, but to UNBELIEVERS!
“If therefore, the whole Church come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in unlearned persons or infidels, will they not say that you are mad? … If any speak with a tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and in course, and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, LET HIM HOLD HIS PEACE IN THE CHURCH, and speak to himself and to God”
I Corinthians 14:6, 9, 13-15, 18-19, 22-23, 27-28.
In other words, all you biblical idiots and protest-ants who “speak in tongues,” if no one can understand what you are saying, the Bible TELLS YOU TO SHUT UP! You are worthless to believers and unbelievers alike, and have no place publicly proclaiming your “personal” incomprehensible “tongue”! For instead of edifying Christianity, you make it appear to the unbeliever as if believers in Christ are “MAD” — as in “insane.”
Those who speak in tongues, such as protest-ant ministers and their followers, are insane (or better expressed, they are demon-possessed)!
For the true gift of tongues is not to babel!
To speak in “tongues” is to clearly speak in someone else’s language in which they can understand you! Five words of comprehension vs. 10,000 words of babbling like a drunken idiot! The very drunkenness the Apostles were accused of, but that for which Peter “lifted up his voice” and rebuked those who had accused the disciples of it!
How was Peter able to rebuke them and get away with it? For he “stood” and stated, “Ye men of Judea, and all you that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known to you, and with your ears receive my words!” Acts of the Apostles 2:14.
In other words, Peter got away with it — and 3,000 were baptized that day as a result — because every one knew from experience that they could not understand a drunk. For a drunk is someone who just babbles and slurs their words in an unintelligent speech. Why? Drunkenness is of the devil!
But Peter and the Apostles were not drunk! They were speaking in the languages of men; a miracle that could only come from God! And the “men of Judea” were able to hear Peter with their “ears” and “receive” his “words”!
Now we are positive there are many who will vehemently disagree with our assessment of the Scripture — or else we wouldn’t see such a shameful proliferation of the false doctrine of speaking in “tongues”! Even in the Catholic “charismatic” movement, one can find those who babble (or is it dabble?) “speaking” in tongues.
So is there another way that those who are reading this can be assured that they have not heard blasphemy from us, but instead the Truth? Is there a foolproof test to what we are saying that ensures we have spoken the Truth?
The answer is, “YES, YES, YES!”
How are we so certain?
The answer is, “THE SAINTS, THE SAINTS, THE SAINTS!”
We challenge anyone — whether they are in or outside the Catholic Church — to show us ONE SAINT who ever “spoke in tongues”; especially speaking in “tongues” the way a protest-ant biblical idiot “minister” or any “pentecostal” moron does!
Are we insulting these people? They are insulting our God and better to shake them up now then to let them die in this blasphemy!
As our patron St. Jude, who carried the Lord’s burial cloth out of Jerusalem, wrote in his Epistle, “But you, my dearly beloved, be mindful of the words which have been spoken before by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, who told you, that in the last time there should come mockers, walking according to their own desires in ungodliness. These are they, who separate themselves, sensual men, having not the Spirit. But you, my beloved, building yourselves upon your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto life everlasting. And some indeed, reprove, being judged; but others save, pulling them out of the fire … ” Jude 22.
Give us one name, one canonized Saint, one incident in the entire 2,000-year documented history of the Holy Ones (for that is what Saint means!) who ever uttered and babbled in an unknown tongue as they “prayed in the spirit”!
We are confident that in the entire list of canonized Saints, not one will be found.
In fact, we can state with confidence that the same is true for the successors to Peter, the Vicars of Christ! Not one, in the history of the Church, has given us gobbledygook as a prayer to the Holy Spirit.
Never!
And for no reason!
Why?
Simple.
Because “speaking in tongues” — the one the protest-ant community preachers make such a big deal about — is not of God: it is blasphemy; it is FALSE and of the devil! (And, by the way, this movement within protest-ant-ism is only a recent development over the last century! Anyone for the “Left Behind” series?)
It is another “false” path and one that, we believe, angers the Lord and is blasphemous — an unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit!
As we approach the great Feast of Pentecost, do not be fooled by those who appear on the idol and preach about the “goodness” or “necessity” for one to “speak in tongues.” These are the ones various visionaries have said they have seen in the pit of hell being tormented for Eternity. These protest-ant pastors go there because not only have they preached a false theology, but they have stolen souls from God by steering them in the wrong direction, costing other people their salvation, or, at the Mercy of God, years of Purgatory time.
Instead, understand that the Lord has granted us all — today, before our very eyes — the miracle of seeing someone “speak in tongues.” He does it all the time. And he does it exactly the way St. Peter did it. For he is Peter’s successor.
We are, of course, talking about Pope John Paul II, who speaks so many languages we can’t even count them!
He, like so many of his predecessors, speaks in so many “divers tongues” that we can’t even keep track of them. If we recall correctly, the number of languages — which is what the word “tongues” means to the original Gospel writers — that John Paul II knows various greetings in is approximately 70. The same as the amount of disciples the Lord originally sent forth two by two. Now John Paul II may not be an expert in every language, but he is fluent in more than a dozen!
But, as among those who cannot speak fluently in other languages, if one does not have the gift to speak in the Spirit of God this way, there is another way that we feel assured is absolutely safe and correct.
That is, if one really believes in the true Spirit of God.
For the true Spirit of God will not tolerate those who dishonor His Spouse.
Another sign in which we, as believers, can be assured that those who “speak” the babbling nonsense of “tongues’ in the protest-ant community cannot possible be in the Spirit of God: for they do not honor the Mother of God!
The true way to speak in the Spirit of God for those of us who are not multilingual, or gifted with the true ability of “divers tongues,” is to approach prayer to the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary!
And it is through a prayer the Holy Virginal Mother of God gave to Father Stefano Gobbi that we, through experience, highly recommend when one wants the assistance, aid and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
We will end our article with this prayer, for this, we are assured, is not blasphemy. Indeed, it comes to us under the category that it is “of God.”
For this prayer reminds one of the first Christian day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles. For who was in the room with them that day? “All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary, the Mother of Jesus … ” Acts of the Apostles 1:14.
And so, with this prayer, we beg, plead and implore God as the Holy Spirit to keep us all safe from the heresy, idiocy and blasphemy that surrounds us in a world where a lie is believed to be the Truth and the Truth a lie.
Through this prayer, may the Holy Ghost keep those, who wish to be kept, in the safety of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Ark of the New Covenant.
And, after first asking for whatever needs a believer may have and invoking the intercession of the Blessed Ever–Virgin Mary, may they then pray this prayer of protection and power in the tongue of humility on one’s knees:
Come by means of the powerful intercession
of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Your well-beloved Spouse!”
