All these three items are intricately intertwined.
In reality, not one can be separated from the other.
In regard to the latter of the three, we have gone after the BIPs — an acronym for the biblical idiot protest-ants.
There is a simple reason for this.
These are just not your average protest-ants, who love and worship Jesus.
The BIPs are the ones who believe they, and only they, know the correct interpretation of Scripture. In this false belief, they have made an eternal mistake by attacking Mary’s messages and apparitions over the centuries as a “trick of the devil.” To them, Mary is not the Woman Clothed With the Sun as the Bible clearly teaches, but just their “sister” in Christ.
Their attacks against the Mother of God and Her rightful place as Queen of Heaven and Earth annoys Christ the King. It is even going to cost many of them their eternal salvation, whether they believe it or not.
As the world is in desperate need of the King to Reign on Earth as He does in Heaven, He is not taking kindly to these attacks against His Mother. Instead of His Peace, Love and Mercy, the BIPs — along with many secular blasphemers who, amazingly attack Mary just as the BIPs do — are bringing down upon the world the Lord’s Hand of Chastisement.
We believe that is why the Lord allowed the World Trade Center attack.
What’s the point of all this?
As we have said before, we all know someone has got to be right and someone has got to be wrong.
God continues to test the hearts and minds of mankind in this regard and He Himself asks every individual in the Great Spiritual Battle: Which Side Are You On?
To answer that question, many people have different interpretations. They cannot all be right.
So is there a defining line? A definitive answer to these perplexing questions as the BIPs continue to rewrite and redefine the Scriptures?
The answer is, of course, an absolute “Yes!”
Remember, God does nothing by accident, especially in regard to His own Personal property.
And the Shroud of Turin is just a perfect example of a piece of His Personal property. It is a relic — a word which means “something left behind.”
The Lord told us He would not leave us orphans. And He has not. He has left something tangible behind for us.
He has left us a Beacon of Light shining in the darkness that surrounds us.
This beacon is the incredible Image of Jesus on the Shroud.
Many people can scoff at it or claim it is not Him, or make other stupid statements such as it is a “painting,” and carbon 14 dating “proved it to be a fake.”
These are all lies and scientifically untrue. We have first, a long history of Saints who have venerated the cloth of their own accord; and then, in the scientific arena, more than 600,000 hours of research that prove the Shroud is not a painting and the Image has skeletal information in it, something that could only have occurred through a burst of interior radiation.
So the unscientific statements made about the Shroud being “medieval” or a “painting,” are the first part of the Great Spiritual Battle surrounding the three intricately intertwined pieces we began with.
This first piece is Christ the King. To deny the authenticity of the Shroud is to deny the Holy Face, the very Face of Christ the King.
It is a simple battle and a simple test.
The Lord has made it so easy.
One only need look at the Face on the Shroud and say, “Yes” or “No.” Without complicating things, there is, as we love to say, no in between in this matter. It either is Jesus or it is not. And you, and you alone, must decide. The Lord is so incredible, no one can make this decision for anyone but the individual themselves.
Please do not misunderstand us either. To say “No” to the Face on the cloth is not to indicate one will not make it to Heaven or be eternally damned. But God knows, after your response, exactly where you are with Him; and, if you say “no” to His Holy Face, He then knows, no matter what you say, that your spirit does not recognize its own God and Savior in His most amazing Passion and Resurrection!
We know this for a fact, for after years of giving presentations on this cloth, it always amazes us the effect that the Holy Face of Jesus has on people — whether Catholic, protest-ant, or moslem. There seems to be — no matter who the person is — an inner tugging to the soul when one contemplates this miraculous Image. We have nothing to do with it. It is all Him.
On the other hand, a very small minority of the thousands of people we have met in our presentations remain cold or have an actual adverse reaction. This has been true even of some priests we have met.
This reaction does not put you in good standing with the Lord. In fact, we are well aware that some of the people who have been seriously involved in the pedophile scandal were actually some of the staunches Church critics who denied the Holy Face of the Shroud. Many even tried to block activities to bring the Shroud to the faithful.
This is more telling about the cloth than any scientific investigation, even though the more than 600,000 hours of research proves the Shroud is an enigma to true science. Science does not touch one’s soul. The Shroud can.
In this regard, Christ the King has ensured we have the evidence — if we open our hearts and minds — to the Truth of His Passion, Death and Resurrection. And the Holy Face on the Shroud is an easy dividing line in the Great Spiritual Battle.
So, two out of our three areas of intricacy show a deep connection to the Truth of Jesus, who is, of course, whether Old or New Testament, the Heart of the Word of God. As Christ the King, His Face is on the Shroud for all to see.
If these two areas are so intertwined with each other, than what can the Shroud tell us about Mary? The Woman who is at the heart of the controversy over Her role in salvation history.
Is She a nobody as the BIPs believe, just someone “blessed” to be a chosen vessel of the Lord who could have been “anyone,” or is She critical to not only our understanding of the Scriptures, but an essential test for us to pass in order to get directly into Heaven?
After all, we do not want to be told by God when we die that we cannot “pass Go” and must, instead, go directly to “Jail.” You know, the place the BIPs call “make-believe”! Or as it's better know: Purgatory!
Once again, the Lord has made it real simple.
But we have to step back and look at the “big picture.”
