| In Memoriam To the Seven |

| In this time of great tragedy, there is no better way to honor the Seven who lost their lives than to remember them in prayer. As a God of Mercy, we ask Him to not only accept our prayers for the souls who were lost, but for their families and friends; indeed, for our whole nation and especially Israel which lost not only a human life, but a symbol of hope. We offer, for those, who wish, this prayer, taken from St. Gertrude, who, in her visions of the Lord Jesus, received it to assist those who can no longer pray for themselves. We have added the astronauts to the list of those mentioned in the prayer: Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son Jesus in union with all the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory — and especially for the astronauts — for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home and in my family. We also plead with God for the Seven: Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. On the day traditionally dedicated to Mary, may we all turn to our Lord and His Mother asking for more graces for a troubled world and an end to human suffering through the only way possible: the Reign of the Sacred Hearts. |
