the Proof Is in the Bones!
What transpired was no less than a “human” miracle and a God-given miracle.
Yet the word “miracle” was never once used.
But all could be seen by a discerning eye as we watched a special on the Vatican produced by the History International channel.
Anyone with any observant capabilities can easily discern the masonic symbolism incorporated into the History, and its sister station, History International channels.
In this, it was quite a surprise to see the secular station actually present positive evidence for the Truth of the Catholic Church’s foundation.
A foundation literally built on the Rock of Peter!
This weekend, in commemorating the 25th anniversary of John Paul’s pontificate, the History International channel presented an overview of the Church’s 2,000 years.
What impressed us in regard to a “human” miracle was the fact that despite its blatant masonic slant in so many other reports, the History International channel actually presented a fair and balanced report on the Vatican.
Indeed, there was no mistaking the special’s message that Western civilization owes a tremendous debt to the Church.
This in itself was miraculous since so many times most historical perspectives regarding the Catholic Church make it appear as if mankind has digressed instead of progressed as a result of the institution.
But not only did the History International channel pay homage to the Church’s incredible contribution to the progress of mankind, it bespoke of the papacy of John Paul II in glowing terms!
Describing how the pontiff draws larger crowds than “rock stars.”
His role in the destruction of communism.
The worldwide reality of John Paul touching, in one way or another, every human being on this planet, whether they are believers or not.
This was a “human” miracle we were overwhelmed in viewing.
But then the History International channel bespoke of something we were not prepared to hear from such a masonically funded institution.
The report on the Vatican spoke of its foundation.
A foundation found deep within the Basilica known as St. Peter’s!
While we were aware of these Truths, it was interesting to finally hear them spoken of so matter-of-factly on the boob tube — something one does not expect to hear from a device that our Queen has called the “idol.”
The program on the Vatican pointed out a tremendous historical Truth.
In the Middle Ages, when the Basilica was rebuilt, those involved had no “scientific” knowledge to comprehend the ultimate reality of where St. Peter was actually buried.
They only had 1,500 years of Sacred Tradition.
As the program rightfully pointed out, destroying the original Church built by Constantine the Great would, today, prove to be an impossible task.
There would be too many environmental groups, historical clubs or other associations to ensure the demolition of Constantine’s Basilica would never occur!
But in the Middle Ages, there were no such obstacles.
And the pope, all-powerful in such decisions, was the ultimate arbitrator as to what should be done.
Julius II did not want the old Basilica.
Julius II wanted a new Church that would denote the power of Rome.
As such, he commissioned the world’s greatest artists.
We all know who they are.
We all know their contributions.
But what the History International channel pointed out is what they didn’t know.
For it wasn’t until the 20th Century that the Truth of St. Peter would be proved archaeologically.
As more and more people question whether or not the Catholic Church is truly built on the Rock of Peter, science — as it has with the Shroud — has already definitively answered the inquiry.
The problem is, the world does not want the answer.
The History International channel, however, provided the simple Truth.
The High Altar of St. Peter’s — reserved for use by the pope only! — is built directly over the tomb of the Chief Apostle!
This has been proven by the graveyard that was discovered underneath St. Peter’s.
While the bones of many people were discovered, no one was quite sure whether or not the skeleton of the Lord’s first vicar had ever been found.
An amazing discovery revealed that which once was hidden.
In a separate burial chamber, unusual remains were revealed.
Directly beneath the Altar of St. Peter’s, the bones of an individual were found with an interesting twist. The remains of this person were lacking something vital: their feet had been cut off.
There is, when one knows the methods of execution employed by pagan Rome, an easy explanation for this. When one is crucified upside down, the feet are cut off in order to remove the body from the cross!
This, of course, is the exact way in which Sacred Tradition describes the death of the Lord’s Chief Apostle!
And there, where Sacred Tradition had stated for centuries, were the bones of a man who had been crucified in an upside down position with his feet cut off!
There was no doubt that, as the Church had taught and believed for centuries, these were the bones of St. Peter!
This is where, as the History International channel reported, the God-ordained miracle comes in.
While the secular station never once mentioned the word “miracle” in its report, we ask anyone to describe this in any other terms. For “coincidence” is beyond the bounds of any self-respecting individual who thinks!
What was most amazing about the discovery of Peter’s bones was this simple Truth: a plump could be dropped from the Dome of the Basilica and it would lead directly to the center of the tomb of the Chief Apostle!
In other words, there is no chance that the artists of the Middle Ages, not knowing exactly where St. Peter’s tomb was, could have possibly ensured the Dome of the Basilica would be perfectly aligned with the center of the Apostle’s Tomb!
Only God could have ensured — under Divine Inspiration — that such a human achievement, the incredible building of St. Peter’s, would be four centuries later in direct alignment with the Rock himself!
As we commemorate All Saints Day, we must remember that nothing ever occurs — when dealing with those consecrated to our Lord — without his knowledge or permission.
Peter was buried almost 2,000 years in a spot that would be, by architects and artists, enhanced 1,500 years later after the Chief Apostle’s crucifixion.
There is no chance nor “coincidence” that those of brilliance, such as Michaelangelo, would have known how to build the Dome directly over St. Peter’s bones.
It is, for the world to contemplate, another miraculous sign that the Catholic Church — and no other — is truly the Rock upon which the Lord has built His legacy!
May those who disagree take heed that, like the Shroud, the science of this Truth is irrefutable.
It remains only for them to accept or, like the 1st-century Israelites, reject the Miracles of Jesus of Nazareth!
The next time a protest-ant or any other skeptic questions the authenticity, authority or Sacraments of the Rock of Peter, ask them if they know where science states the bones of the Chief Apostle were found!
