Agnus Dei Presents!
The Beatles vs. the Pope:
Was It Paul or Peter Who Defeated the ‘Evil Empire’?
For those who may have missed it last week and had a chance or cared to watch, the A&E channel repeated an unusual special this weekend:  “Paul McCartney in Red Square.”

It was a tour de force of what is left of “Beatlemania” as it was apparent on the face of the thousands of Russians who attended the open-air concert.

Paul, who truly is one of the great songwriters of history (and, as a multimillionaire, made the most money of anyone who is anyone in the “business”), pleased the crowd with hit after hit.

The ex-Beatle, a complete success on his own, even had the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, in the crowd of listeners.

With that said — including the fact that McCartney is one of the most incredible bass players whoever lived and had absolute timing with the extremely talented musicians backing him — we found several disturbing concepts presented to the viewer as adjuncts to the momentous occasion for him and the Russian people.

The most incredulous was that throughout the two hours, the special tried to give credence to who they wanted the viewer to believe was behind the crumbling of the former Soviet Union — known, so apropos as the
“evil empire.”

Interviews with Russian citizens who lived the nightmare of communism spoke of the dark days when to listen to or buy a Beatle album could be cause for arrest and interrogation by the dreaded KGB.

The now-older group of ’60s, ’70s and ’80s radicals Soviet-style — including today’s defense minister for the Russian republic — talked of those years as a cultural spark that was to leave an indelible mark on their belief in a system; a belief system that, because of its rigidity, was dying.

A death, they perceived, that was precipitated by such outrageous songs as
“Back in the U.S.S.R.,” a song from the Beatles’ “white album” as it is known.

Rightfully so, when Paul and his new group sang this piece, the crowd understandably went wild
(“Well, the Ukraine girls really knock me out, they leave the West behind; and Moscow girls make me sing and shout, that Georgia’s always on my mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mind”).

And as Paul said, it was an amazing moment for him personally — an artist who was banned under a system that strained its credence trying to keep his music from the hearts of its people.

An attempt that failed miserably.

But that was only part of the reason the people in a repressed society could no longer tolerate that which was never meant for people to live under.
(For our God is a Communionist, not a communist!)

And while the Beatles certainly had an impact on the explosion of communist culture within the Soviet Union, it is an absurd picture to present them as THE “change agents” while denying, neglecting or ignoring the Truth of what really happened.

For that Truth is in Scripture.

The Beatles had nothing to do with the nuclear explosion at Chernobyl in the Ukraine.

The Beatles had nothing to do with the human explosion in the shipyards of Gdansk, Poland.

To point to the Beatles as the “underground” reason for the ultimate demise of the Soviet Union is akin to stating that Ronald Reagan was the driving force.

How quickly the world forgets.

Or perhaps, wants to forget.

The roots of the demise of the Soviet Union can be found in 1917 in the words of a Woman who is known as the Mother of God.

For, as She prophesied, in the end Her
Immaculate Heart will Triumph.

And in that prophesy, the be-all and end-all to the Soviet collapse, comes into the Hands of only One Being:  Mary’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

For it was His prophesy given to His Beloved Disciple in the 1st Century as John the Apostle
recorded the future in the Book of Apocalypse.

In this, the Lord and His Mother ensured the ultimate human “change agent” was in place on Earth.

His name was not Paul — it was “Peter.”

Peter, as in his successor, John Paul II.

For it was not music; nor was it nuclear weapons or stealth aircraft that made Moscow’s
$4 billion radar system obsolete that did in a system of evil-minded men who gave no glory to God but to themselves only.

It was, humanistically, the consecration of the world — including Russia — on March 25, 1984 that led to the beginning of the end for communism in Red Square.

It was the pontiff leading the people of Poland in the prayers of the Rosary as “Solidarity” undermined the entire system with its brave stand against a military machine that had defeated every other call for change in the Eastern bloc.

It was above all things from a heavenly point of view — including the consecration of 1984 — Jesus and Mary ensuring that Peter’s successor was a man of these people (instead of an “Italian” pope) who would strengthen a nation that the
Vicar of Christ, as a cardinal, had consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1956.

It was not John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

It was Jesus, Mary, John Paul, and Lech (as in Walsea, the Catholic Polish leader of the union, “Solidarity”).

It was not Mikhail Gorbachev, despite Paul shown in the special congratulating him for bringing about the change during his personal meeting with a man who was despicably part of the KGB when the assassination attempt against the pope took place in 1981.

It was not the people of “Wormwood,” the English translation for the Ukrainian city of Chernobyl.

It was not Boris Yeltsin.

Nor was it Vladimir Putin, another former KGB agent, whose wife, like Nancy Reagan, follows astrology to “ensure” her husband’s future as the leader of this-once “official” atheistic nation is safe, according to the “stars.”

And it surely was not, as an individual, or member of the Beatles, “Sir” Paul McCartney, as he loves to be called.  (This means to secure that title, Paul got on his bended knee before a false queen!  Does anyone know when the last time Paul got down on bended knee to sing not
“Lady Madonna,” but Ave Maria?!)

As he toured the famed sites of Moscow and St. Petersburg, Paul stood with his wife Heather before the Church where many of the tsars were crowned throughout the history of a nation immersed more in ice than we care to think of.

Over the entrance to the Church was, in gold-colored tiles, an icon of Madonna and Child.

In the Sacred Traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church, the royal lineage of the tsars began when a painting of the Holy Child and His Mother was discovered by the first to become king.  As such, he became — unlike the usurpers, Lenin and Stalin — the “anointed” leader of Russia in the 2nd Millennium.

The holy icon is believed to be one of four paintings in the world attributed to the hand of St. Luke — the Gospel writer who,
from knowing Mary personally, received the Infant narratives:  “According as they have delivered them unto us, who, from the beginning, were eyewitnesses … ” Luke 1:2.

But Paul did not give homage to the Child and His Mother during the filming of his
“Close Encounter of the Holy Kind.”

Instead, we later heard Paul to at least admit that while the adulation was intoxicating, he was not a “god” as some might treat him in Russia.

Not only is Paul not a “god,” but he and his other former band members are not the ones behind the collapse of one of the world’s most evil systems — a system responsible for more deaths in its brief history than even the centuries pagan Romans can lay claim to!

Paul may have been glorified in his visit
“Back in the U.S.S.R.,” but he, as well as anyone else on this planet, needs to remember where to truly give glory and honor.

This week, another British singer,
Robert Palmer, passed away at the ripe old age of 54.  John Ritter, the American television “star” and son of Tex Ritter, also departed this planet unexpectedly in this age category.  The lead singer, Joe Strummer, for the former punk rock band, the Clash, died at the extreme senior citizen age of 50 just nine months ago.

The point is, we watched these so-called “artists” change society — and
most of them NOT for the better.  (And yes, Virginia, we are eyewitnesses, among the 55,000 who saw the Beatles in person at Shea Stadium in New York, and, as a “journalist,” covered the MTV “awards” when Robert Palmer performed before we, thank God, abandoned our own pagan lifestyle.)

But the explosion the Beatles initiated was because of one simple reason:  the evil unleashed on the innocent and naive by the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

We should know.

We, again, lived it.

We were 13 when JFK’s brains were splattered onto the streets of Dallas in 1963.

Is it any wonder why just two months later, when the Beatles made their first appearance on Ed Sullivan, that the world of teenagers went wild?

What easier and better way to escape the horror of the king of Camelot being taken from our idealistic minds as we entered the bloody TV era of the senseless Vietnam “conflict”?

The Beatles certainly changed American culture — a culture that was reeling from the death of its king.

The Beatles certainly changed Russian culture — a culture that was reeling from the death of its soul
.

But in the final analysis, the songs of the Beatles will not give them or any of their fans a “Ticket to Ride” in Eternity.

It will, just as Robert Palmer’s videos, avail the four “mop tops” nothing.

For there is no eternal reward in that which the world provides infinite accolades.

Paul can take delight in the fact that
“Yesterday” is the world’s most recorded song.  He can revel in the reality that every time we hear the theme song to “I Love Lucy,” he, as with so many other similar pieces, owns the copyrights and receives the “royalties.”

But he is not God, or a “god” (despite the fact that the rhetoric of the media would have us believe so)!

And before he, along with those who produced
“Paul McCartney in Red Square,” keep patting the Beatles on the back as the ones who changed a system that was in its totality a true manifestation of the antichrist, all should get on their knees and pay homage and worship to the One who predicted the demise of the “evil empire” long before any of the “fab four” were born.

Even longer before the successor of Peter was born.

The Ancient of Days, the Alpha and the Omega, the Son of God!

For it was his vicar “Peter,” not Paul, under the Hand of God, who defeated in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, without a shot being fired, the “evil empire” — an empire that, despite its culture change, remains a threat to world peace today.

Why?

Because as much as “Peter” did, he did not accomplish enough; for he was stymied by a rebellious hierarchy of bishops.  A hierarchy that did not FULLY partake in obedience to the Commands of its Queen; and, therefore, the perfect consecration of Russia as requested at Fatima was NOT and will never be obtained.

As a result of the Church’s failure to follow to the letter — every jot and tittle — the
Queen of Heaven’s request that ALL the bishops of the Catholic Church specifically consecrate one nation — Russia by name — to Her Immaculate Heart in union with the pope, we lost a tremendous amount of graces.  (And, yes, Virginia, we do believe, the consecration was accomplished, but not as requested!)

Graces the
Queen of Heaven was prepared to give and desiring to give.

But She could not, because the rules are such we get what we give.

Those in the hierarchy gave half-heartedly as a Church that calls for “obedience” then failed to heed its
Commander-in-Chief, the Queen of God’s Army.

We, as a people then, received much less than half the graces God was willing to dispense as a result of the “disobedience” of those who hide behind this word as they enforce the heresy they propagate today
.

Heresy that continues before our Lord in His own House.

And therein lies the reason for the false “peace” of today.

A false peace that trembles throughout the four corners of the Earth and cannot be soothed by music, personality cults, or a new vicar.

A peace that can no longer be gained by political or cultural changes effected by Paul or anyone else in Red Square;
but only through prayer in spiritual union with the consecration of the 3rd Millennium to the Immaculata as accomplished by the chief Apostle’s successor three years ago in St. Peter’s Square.
