Make It to Heaven?

Yet, when we show them where it says it, they then refuse to accept the direct meaning of the words.
So many protest-ants believe that by calling upon the Name of Jesus, not only are they saved, but they are going directly through the pearly gates. They will not have to “stop, do not pass Go, and not collect $200.00” as the Monopoly game goes. These people think they already own Boardwalk.
In other words, they believe there is no “jail” time or “Purgatory” for believers and every one who loves Jesus “automatically” gets a “reward.”
That’s not what the Bible says, nor is it what Christians preached or believed until the so-called “reformation.” A “reformation” sparked by that ex-monk, Martin Luther, who broke two personal vows to the Lord Jesus.
Recently, we have been getting some wonderful mail from visitors to our web site. We are most grateful to God that our messages are being recognized as ones that “proclaim loudly only truth,” as one reader stated.
We are not here to judge others.
Lord knows — and we do, too — that we are unworthy.
But we are here to make a stand against those who are leading the sheep astray.
Whatever one does with the information one gets from this site is between that person and God. And what we espouse on this site is not our opinion but the teachings of the 1st– and 2nd-millennium Church, the Saints, and most importantly, the messages of Jesus and Mary, whether scriptural or in approved apparitions.
It is easy to do this once one is completely grounded in the critical fact that there are no excuses because the Shroud of Turin proves Jesus is who He said He is and did what the Scriptures said He did. From that basis, everything else falls into place and we realize that God has not made a mistake — people have.
And so, once again, we were extremely grateful when another reader contacted us in regard to our article on “Speaking in Tongues.” They had experienced a pentecostal service and — as their spirit and conscience was confused by this babble — they were never comfortable with this exercise in futility.
As we continue to state, making choices in life is the key and may God bless this person who, on their own accord, became a convert to the Church.
This is much like our story (although, we are “reverts”) in the fact that as we rejected certain types of behavior, the Lord — PLEASED that you are passing His tests in this world of confusion — moves you closer and closer to Him and His Mother. A simple test for any believer is, if you have encountered Jesus and you are not getting closer to His Mother, you are not making correct choices and need to reexamine your course. For while you may at first have been on course, you are now drifting down a path that is going to cost you — as in eternal rewards — in the long run of Eternity!
This brings us to the question this person asked in an e-mail to our web site. It is the purpose for this article. It is an extremely important question and one we wished not to just tackle individually, but as the Lord has allowed us, to share the comprehension of His Mercy and Judgment biblically and historically in His messages that He has always provided to those who seek the Truth.
The Passage we quoted at the beginning from the Apostle Paul is perhaps one of the most critical and overlooked pieces. When we first came across it in our studies, we were awe-struck how clear the Lord was being in regard to Judgment.
This passage helps clarify the situation where the Apostle John writes in his Gospel “ … that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing, you may have life in His Name” John 20:31.
And so, we now come to the 3rd Millennium, almost 500 years since the “reformation” and people — especially in the protest-ant community — believe as long as they call upon the Name of Jesus they will have “life” and be saved.
But is that true in every sense in which they believe it?
According to the Apostle Paul, absolutely NOT!
We must all remember that Jesus is the Word and He, as God, knows words better than any human could ever hope to comprehend. As John is writing his Gospel to confirm to anyone that there is no other way to be saved than through the Name and Precious Blood of Jesus, Paul is clarifying that our works in that Name will be judged! And based on that judgment, we will either “receive a reward,” or, if our work burns, we “shall suffer loss.”
Most people believe Jesus’ death on the Cross gave us all a free ticket to Heaven.
That’s wrong.
Jesus, if we believe in the real Son of God, gave us a free ticket out of hell.
We have to earn our ticket into Heaven. We have to earn the right to pass jail, to go directly to Go and collect our reward (hopefully, more than $200.00)!
How can we be so sure?
Just read and comprehend the words of the Apostle to the gentiles:
“Every man’s work shall be manifest;
for the Day of the Lord shall declare it,
because it shall be revealed in fire;
and the fire shall try every man’s work,
of what sort it is.”
And how shall it be made “manifest” [“clearly apparent to the sight or understanding”]? “It shall be revealed in fire.”
And what is the fire “revealing”? Whether a person’s work is “gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble.”
What happens when fire comes in contact with stubble [the “short stiff stalks of grain remaining on a field after harvesting”]? It takes but a few seconds to be ablaze and turned into dust!
With hay? It is IMMEDIATELY CONSUMED!
With wood? It smolders, smoking and getting hotter, until it is eventually burning and consumed, turning into ash!
With precious stones? Fire will tarnish precious stones, turning many into a melting pot of mishmash that no longer has any singular beauty to it.
With silver? Silver will also tarnish, but it will survive the fire, no longer solid but liquefied and ready for the mallet!
But gold. Ah, gold. That is a precious metal that is REFINED in the fire and comes out better than when first placed within! Its impurities — what is not gold — are removed.
Through these simple illustrations, God has shown us that stubble, hay and wood will not make it through His fire — especially a fire that tries “every man’s work,
of what sort it is.” Since the so-called islamic “prophet” “mohammed” did not lay a foundation “which is Christ Jesus,” we can be assured that he is NOT a “wise architect” and his work is even less than wood, hay or stubble. (No reward here!)
However, for those who did lay a foundation “which is Christ Jesus,” precious stones, silver and gold WILL SURVIVE a fire, even though precious stones and silver will be changed and gold purified.
So where does that leave those whose work has been tried by the fire of God, laid a foundation of “Christ Jesus,” but yet, in the fire, their work was consumed and less than precious stones, silver or gold?
‘If any man’s work burn, he shall suffer loss;
but he himself shall be saved,
YET SO AS BY FIRE!’
So that person will “suffer loss.” But, if their foundation was of Christ, they still will be saved, yet as one through fire! And, critically, if someone is NOT teaching you the biblically sound doctrine of Purgatory, than their work cannot be gold!
Now, is there “fire” in Heaven? We all know in terms of hurting one’s soul that the answer is a resounding “no!”
Is there fire in hell? Obviously, “yes,” but as the Scriptures clearly teach us, one cannot “be saved” once a soul has been judged to enter the gates therein — and neither can they ever get out of that God-forsaken place where the fire never consumes and yet is unquenchable.
So where is this place where one “shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved,
YET SO AS BY FIRE”?
Where is this place where, as Jesus preached, a soul “shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing” Matthew 5:26. And which is repeated as a lesson for us because of its great importance in Luke 12:59: “I say to thee, thou shalt not go out thence, until thou pay the very last mite!”
It is, of course, as sacred Jewish tradition teaches (for this belief is not a “Catholic thing,” its origin is in Judaism!) and as the Universal Church taught from the beginning of Christianity, a place called “Purgatory.” A “place of … punishment for those who die in God’s grace, but are not entirely free from … sins or have not entirely paid the satisfaction due to their sins” Holy Trinity Bible, 1951.
This is where those whose work has been tried by the fire of God and their work was found to be less than precious stones, silver or gold will go.
Interestingly, one can inquire of all the so-called “Apostolic” churches — in other words, churches founded by an Apostle, such as the Greek Orthodox, etc. — and in each one, one will find a doctrine or belief in regard to Purgatory.
Not so at your local “Calvary Chapel”; or on your local televangelist station. It is only in the modern protest-ant movement that the Truth of Purgatory has been trampled on at the expense of those within this community.
We have made this statement before: if one truly believes that the Holy Spirit is God, than the Holy Spirit cannot make a mistake. Do people in the protest-ant community really believe that for 1,500 years — until Martin Luther came along — all believers and Saints were misled by the Holy Spirit in their knowledge and teaching of Purgatory?
For a community whose battle cry is sola scriptura — Scripture alone — as its sole theology (but, of course, based on any person’s interpretation!), protest-ants have an uncanny way, or rather a disease, in disregarding the actual words of the Bible! For in protest-ant-ism, every person is their own pope, choosing this or that belief and changing at whim whenever the needs suit. (Oh, I found a new church today. The pastor is so wonderful and filled with the Holy Spirit. You just got to hear him teach. I’m never going back to that other church. They used to be “spirit-filled,” but I just don’t feel I’m being “fed” the Word anymore!)
But the Lord’s Words are unchangeable. So is His Spirit.
We can, therefore, answer the question we posed at the beginning, “Will protest-ants make it to Heaven?”
And the answer is threefold:
1. Yes, the vast majority of those who call upon the Name of Jesus shall be saved, ‘YET SO AS BY FIRE!’ Or to be more blunt, yes, the Lord will grant them His Mercy, but there is going to be a lot of Purgatory time involved before they ever see or make it to Heaven — and they will “suffer loss”! In other words, they will receive NO eternal reward and suffer for a long time in the fires of Purgatory (to purge)! Why?
2. Because there is no salvation outside the Universal Church! What does this mean? “Salvation” is NOT just calling upon the Name of Jesus. Salvation is far more complex than that (and we can’t get into every nuance but here are some simple ones). One is saved through His Name, but to receive the complete gift of salvation one must follow the formulas God has given us and handed down through the Universal Church, such as, not only Baptism, but Confession and, most importantly, receiving Jesus in the Sacrament of the Altar. And acknowledging the Marian dogmas such as the Immaculate Conception!
As we stated, in the messages of the Lord and His Mother, Jesus Himself will confirm these formulas when He reveals the fullness of His Divine Mercy to St. Faustina in the 1930s.
In this revelation Jesus not only verifies what we have simply stated, but that in order for anyone — including those in the Universal Church — to avoid Purgatory, He requested that we attend what He called the Divine Mercy Feast on the Sunday after Easter. And what must one do to please the Lord to receive this great Gift? One must go to Confession, receive the Eucharist in a state of grace on that day and venerate the Divine Mercy Image of our Lord!
In preparing for this gift, Jesus asked that we recite the Lord’s Prayer, Ave Maria and the Apostles’ Creed. He did not ask for the “sinner’s prayer” or the prayer of Jabez!
Indeed, there are other ways for believers to escape Purgatory if they but show their faith by wearing the brown scapular Mary gave to the world as a gift in the 13th Century.
Or, if people would but consecrate themselves to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, they, too, may find the necessary graces — graces that may not be enough to attain gold as the Saints did, but yet to make it into Heaven with their lesser-value of precious stones.
This is why we MUST pray the Rosary, the Divine Mercy chaplet or the Holy Child’s Rosary, whether we are Catholics or not! For they provide us with graces that may enable one not to “suffer loss,” but instead gain “a reward.”
For this is one of the most important reasons why we discuss these issues.
We, as a community of believers, have lost sight of the fact that we are not just trying to attain eternal salvation with the Lord, but also to not “suffer loss” for Eternity! Believing in our hearts in this Truth, we are fighting with this web site to remind people they will regret what eternal rewards they have lost by not following God’s simple rules and messages NOW!
That is why it is imperative for people to pray, to receive the Body and Blood of Christ, etc. Eternal rewards are at stake! And even if one is not “Catholic,” that does not prevent one from wearing a scapular, praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy chaplets, and confessing one’s sins!
But these and other acts of faith are not things people in the protest-ant world are doing.
In fact, not only are they not doing them, but they wish NOT to do them. Even, when given the knowledge, they refuse to do them, remaining obstinate in their ways and rejecting anything that may smack of “Catholicism.” They, according to their beliefs, have said the “sinner’s prayer,” raised their hands to the Lord and whispered the Name of Jesus. Don’t bother them with anything else!
Herein lies a third Truth about whether or not protest-ants will make it to Heaven. That is the Truth about its leadership.
This is on par with those in the Catholic Church — or any church! — who lead the flock astray! For those who are leaders in the Catholic Church and who should “know better,” will be judged more severely than those who are just followers in protest-ant-ism.
While it will NOT be easier for a protest-ant to get into Heaven vs. a Catholic believer, a Catholic believer has a lot more at stake in the eternal reward department. Why? Because they can, by following the precepts of the Lord, be eligible for “as it is written: That eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love Him” I Corinthians 2:9.
But a Catholic, ignoring Confession, the Eucharist, or the Rosary, will find themselves even longer in Purgatory (if not lower and hotter) than a protest-ant — for theirs is not a crime of being led astray, but a crime of disbelief and/or inaction.
On the opposite hand, the Lord does NOT take kindly to those in Catholicism or protest-ant-ism who, in positions of authority, fleece the flock and then present them false or bad information, leading the flock astray.
These leaders are in danger of a lot more than just Purgatory.
Why? Corrupting the Word of God is a good way to put it, and, especially, in the world of protest-ant-ism, so many “preach” but do not “feed” the Lord’s sheep.
For to feed the lambs of God is not just to preach the Word, but to offer the flock the Lamb of God, the true Word, and His Body and Blood in the Eucharist!
But protest-ants in leadership positions do not do this (and some Catholics, following the lead of ecumenical bishops, are doing Holy Communion irreverently)!
Instead, protest-ants talk endlessly, and usually on some “Old” Covenant issue.
In corrupting the Word of God, some leaders have done it for personal gain; others for power, and others just out of plain stupidity! While the list of crimes and sins is too long to list in this regard, we all know that the “televangelists” are No. 1 on God’s hit list (and we don’t mean music; we mean punishment)!
They have attained their rewards. It is earthly and not heavenly. They are idols unto themselves on the idol itself, television. They have glorified and raised their own names and monuments to themselves.
They have taught the “gospel of success,” as opposed to the Gospel of the Cross.
They have taught people to repeat the vain and repetitious prayer of Jabez as opposed to teaching their flocks to honor God and His Mother by praying, “Hail Mary!”
They have frightened people that if they do not follow them as leaders, they might get “left behind.” (Just when does the pre-, mid-, or post-Tribulation start?)
They have taught their flock to “speak in tongues” and not believe in Purgatory.
They have ignored the Body and Blood of our Lord in the Eucharist.
And they have splintered the Body of Christ and scourged our Savior again.
In this regard, their works will burn, burn, burn.
We can only pray that the Lord, in His great Mercy — and with a word from His Mother — will yet let them and those who follow them “be saved, YET SO AS BY FIRE!”
But we feel pretty confident to state that for them, there will be no eternal reward.
In fact, not only will protest-ant leaders who withhold the Truth about Purgatory to their flock and preach against Mary not make it to Heaven — for She will not be able to intercede for them — instead, as the Lord Himself spoke, they are in danger of permanent hellfire!
One way or the other, no matter how one looks at anyone in the world of protest-ant-ism and no matter what level they may be on, leader or follower, protest-ants will shockingly find themselves unpleasantly Judged on the Day of the Lord — which not only comes at the end of time but to each individual whenever any soul dies.
A Judgment that will not permit any protest-ant, unless, perhaps, they have spilled their blood as a martyr, to enter directly into the Gates of Heaven.
Instead, there will be a major detour, if they are blessed enough by the greatest attribute of God: His Divine Mercy. A Mercy which will not allow the Justice of God to be mocked.
For their works of wood, hay and stubble, which cannot “abide” [“endure”] as the Bible clearly states, will have been “revealed in fire.”
