| Out of All the Mysteries of God: Is This His Greatest Secret? “And I saw a strong Angel, proclaiming with a loud voice: ‘Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the Seals thereof?’ And no man was able, neither in Heaven, nor on Earth, nor under the Earth, to open the Book, nor to look on it. … And one of the Ancients said to me: ‘Weep not; behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the Seven Seals thereof.’ And I saw: and behold, in the midst of the Throne … a Lamb standing as it were slain … . And He came and took the Book out of the Right Hand of Him that sat on the Throne!” Apocalypse 5:2-3, 5-7 |

| The Bride of the Spirit ... | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| When we began our study of the Shroud of Turin, as sindonologists, we did not know where our journey would take us. And we have since learned that, because our study ultimately involves God, it is, of course, the proverbial never-ending journey. God has so many mysteries and secrets, even in Eternity we will not be able to begin to fathom them. His Mercy alone, as we who believe know, represents this Truth. What we did learn, however, is that the Lord follows specific rules of His own making. While He can, as the Lord of the Sabbath, deviate from them any time He wishes to do so, He basically likes to follow His own set patterns. This Truth became apparent as we began to comprehend that if there was any way to prove Sacred Tradition, the Shroud was the “living proof.” Indeed, not only did the Shroud provide the scientific evidence to back up so many of the Sacred Tradition stories or miracles the modern Church takes for granted — and even ignores today — the burial cloth of our Lord and Savior brought us into an even more, for Christians, obscure landscape. It is the landscape of Jewish Sacred Tradition. It is here that we believe — and no one else has to believe it with us, for this is for everyone’s own “discernment” — we discovered, perhaps, the greatest mystery of God. One of His most guarded “secrets.” Why would He “allow” us to “stumble” across, or, as we believe, lead us to such a “guarded” secret? We believe it has to do with the time frame all of us are living in. It is called the 3rd Millennium. And the Lord wants His people to not just pray, but plead for the Reign of the Sacred Hearts. Why should Jesus give us His greatest Gift since He redeemed mankind on the Cross if we really don’t want it? Just as with the Israelites, who pleaded with God for an earthly king until the Lord relented, why should Jesus reign as our King on Earth if the world — especially those who claim to believe in Him — are satisfied with a pope ruling over them; a president; a prime minister; a bishop; a priest, or a world body such as the U.N.? All of who, no matter how holy or evil, cannot “open the Book, nor to look on it.” Herein lies the key to unlocking, as we believe we discovered, a way to implore the Lord as the Holy Trinity, that we do NOT want another earthly king, no matter what their power base may be. Herein lies a way to plead for the Reign of the Sacred Hearts! And it is such a forgotten path that no one — especially the youth of today — have any concept of it. Another reason why we believe, not only is it one of God’s greatest mysteries, but something the evil one fears to be unlocked for this could help believers bring about the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! The easy way to illustrate this is in a personal story. Our 20-year-old son is in love (with a woman his age, thank God)! We, as the laugh-a-minute parents we are, jokingly asked the young lady in question, who seems serious enough about her relationship with our son, whether or not her dad had a “dowry” to solidify a potential marriage between the two. Being the pupils of the masonic American educational system of public school, the two of them had no idea what we were talking about. A “dowry”? “What’s that?” A dowry is “money or property given to a husband upon marriage by the bride’s family.” In other words, in the ancient traditions of our elders, the property of a bride’s family could be more enticing for a man to enter into an arranged relationship than the woman herself! Things, of course, have surely changed. We, upon our marriage, did not receive a dowry from our in-laws! (We still complain about it to our bride today!) But in 1st-century Israel, things were much different. At the time of Christ, the family of a woman was expected to provide property, or some sort of gift, to the perspective groom. In fact, as part of Jewish tradition, the father of the bride was actually giving the husband his money or property to hold for the offspring the couple would produce in the future. Hopefully, that first child would be a male and inherit the money or property the father of the bride provided to his daughter’s husband. This was a very sacred trust. The property was not given so much for the husband as for the son of the bride. A great point of pride for the men of Israel to provide a good start in life for their daughter’s child. The child who would keep the family’s honor and perpetuate the tribe. We were watching a wonderful show on the Travel channel the other night as they showed the “Top 10” places to visit in the Holy Land. We had to shake our heads in amazement as, once again, a “historian” was interviewed regarding the home life of one Mary of Nazareth, the one who will give birth to the Savior of the world. It always amazes us how “historians” and “scholars” of today love to ignore Sacred Tradition. As such, they never provide the full Truth when giving their perspective on the story of Jesus and His Mother. In their “scientific” quest to discuss only that which they believe is relevant or can be verified in their own prejudicial quasi-research that seems to put any Catholic historian or Church official, especially the Saints, of the 1st Millennium in their category of “unreliable,” we, as a public, are given “half-Truths,” if that. Such was the case as this “historian” explained how Mary, at the age of 12, would be given by her father to a suitable suitor. This is extremely true and correct. The part this historian did not seem to even hint at, or give any credence to, is that, according to Sacred Tradition, at this time in her life, Mary’s parents, Joachim and Anne, are no longer alive! According to Sacred Tradition, Mary had been given at any early age by her parents to the High Priest of the Temple as one of the virgins who took care of various needs, such as sewing ritual cloths. Herein, then, may lie one of God’s greatest secrets! A mystery that He set up from time immemorial! For as Mary came of age, She could no longer continue to be part of the Temple’s servants. The High Priest would seek a suitable suitor for this Virgin who was now of child-bearing age. This is where, of course, St. Joseph comes in. We are well aware of some traditions that claim Joseph was old and a widower with children when he was asked to take the Virgin into his home and protect Her. We do not believe this tradition is correct. We believe the tradition that many of the Saints spoke of is the right choice. St. Joseph was not old, but a man who sought to have a normal family of his own. It was not until the Archangel Gabriel spoke to him — and we do not know everything Gabriel told the Most Chaste Spouse of the Blessed Virgin — when Joseph’s life was forever changed. We believe, like Mary, and, as so many Saints have stated, that Joseph was a virgin who also gave this gift to our Lord. As such, it makes perfect Catholic sense that Joseph, who was the earthly husband of Mary, by his relationship to Her, allowed God’s Mother to be legal in regard to the Mosaic Law. For as we all know, if Mary were not married and pregnant, She could have been stoned to death! In reality, though, because their marriage was never “consummated,” Joseph is not really Mary’s true husband. Someone else is. That Someone is the Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity. The Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God that came upon the Virgin when She acquiesced and said, “Yes,” to God; yes, that She would, indeed, be the virginal Mother of the Son! Herein, we believe, lies one of the greatest mysteries of God! The Holy Ghost, Who impregnated the Virgin, is the true husband of Mary. We know many Catholics already believe and understand this (as we all try to, the best we can, bounded in our imperfect humanness). We know, too, that Sacred Tradition has always taught that Mary is the Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son, and Spouse of the Holy Ghost! Three Persons in One God all sharing a unique relationship with the Holy Three-In-One’s greatest and only Immaculate Conception! This, now, is where Sacred Jewish Tradition comes in. For if Mary’s earthly father, Joachim, is dead at the time of Her betrothal, who is the Father of the Bride? Obviously, it is God the Father For Mary is His Daughter! Who, then, is the true Husband of the Bride who impregnates the Virgin with the Incarnate Word of God? Obviously, it is God the Holy Spirit! For only a husband can, by Mosaic Law, impregnate his wife! And for Jesus to be “sinless,” God cannot break the Mosaic Law! Who, then, is the Inheritor of God the Father’s Dowry to the Husband of the Bride? Obviously, there is no surprise here, it is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the Son of Mary, True God and True Man! Who, then, as Sacred Jewish Tradition would dictate, is holding the Inheritance of God the Father for the Child to use when He comes of age (or, in this case, when it is the “fullness of time”)? Obviously, it is the Husband of Mary, the Holy Spirit! What is this Inheritance that the Holy Ghost is holding for the Child to receive from God the Father? Obviously, it is Jesus’ Throne on Earth as it is in Heaven! It is all of Creation! Or, as we call it, the Earth — the only rebellious corner of the Universe — and all there is to it. Or as the Lord calls it: the Footstool of God! (“Heaven is My Throne, and the Earth My footstool” Acts 7:49.) What then, out of all the “Mysteries of God,” is, perhaps, the Lord’s “Greatest [earthly] Secret”? It is, we believe, the simple fact that the Holy Spirit is holding the Dowry of the Lord Jesus as granted by the Eternal Father to the Bride and Her Offspring! Why is this of any importance to us in the Great Spiritual Battle? Because, if we truly believe, we, as believers, need to lobby the Holy Spirit that it is time for Him to release the Dowry for the Child to reign over us as Christ the King — for we, as His creation, no longer wish to have any other king, pope, president, prime minister, nor any world body to rule over us! (Perhaps, maybe there are some who do! Herein, lies a true test of one’s heart and mind!) The Child is not only of Age, but He has long ago won the Right to the Dowry by His redemptive action on the Cross! In this “mystery,” the “greatest secret” to move the Holy Ghost then is to implore His Bride to ask the Spirit of God to release the Dowry He is currently holding for the Holy Child! For it is Mary and Mary alone who has the Power over Her Spouse to ensure He accomplishes what Sacred Jewish Tradition has demanded of the Hebrew people for centuries. God, as an orderly Creator, LOVES to be bound by His own rules! Therefore, we, as believers, need to ask for the enforcement of this Tradition — not for our own honor or glory; but for the Honor and Glory of God! The Honor and Glory of the Father! The Honor and Glory of Christ the King! The Honor and Glory of the Holy Spirit! For it is the Holy Spirit’s duty, as a Husband, to enforce the Dowry and Inheritance of the Holy Child. And, by asking Mary to ensure this enforcement proceeds in an orderly and timely fashion — now that we are in the 3rd Millennium, which mimics the 3rd Day when the Holy Spirit Resurrected Christ the King — we can help bring about the Reign of the Sacred Hearts sooner than later. Complicated? Only if we want it to be so. And only if we don’t have the faith of a child! We need only to ask Mary — as our Mother and Queen — to ensure the Sacred Traditions Her Family are part of, are brought to fruition for the Honor and Glory of God in the Spirit of Love She shares with the Most Holy Trinity! It is the same Honor and Glory of the Lamb of God, the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, [who] hath prevailed to open the Book.” And this is a great month to make this request. For the entire month of May is dedicated to Mary as God’s Queen. As Pope Pius VII decreed, by making devotions to Mary in the month of May, such as this special one we are suggesting, believers “could gain an indulgence of 300 days on each day of May, and a plenary indulgence on one of the days of May, or on one of the first eight days of June” by honoring the Mother of God (Holy Trinity Bible, 1951). Is there a better way to honor the Queen than to invoke the Inheritance Her Spouse is holding for Her Son, the King, from His Father? While we are well aware that no one in the Church, as far as we know, has spoken of this “Jewish” tradition, we, as believers, need no “official” approval to ask the Father, through His Spirit, to grant the Son what is rightfully His. For the Truth of this is all through the Scriptures. “But to which one of the Angels said He at any time: ‘Sit on My Right Hand, until I make Thy enemies Thy footstool’ ”? Hebrews 1:13. For Who else but Jesus, the Son of God and the Son of Mary, has the Right to take “the Book out of the Right Hand of Him that sat on the Throne”? And, out of all the “Mysteries of God,” who else but we, as believers, have the right to ask Mary to ensure Her Spouse, in His “Greatest Secret,” enforces the Inheritance of the “Root of David,” Her Son! An Inheritance which the Holy Ghost, Mary’s Spouse, protects and holds for the Lamb of God, Mary’s Son, for the honor and glory of God, Mary’s Father! |
