| Standing With the Militant Saints Our Silence Leads to God’s Judgment |

| There is a spirit that is permeating our Church today — it is the spirit of “ecumenism.” This spirit says that with “love and kindness,” we can live with those of differing opinions by not offending them with the Truth of the Catholic faith. Perhaps those who believe in “ecumenism” think that with kindness and love, we can even convert the lost, or so one would hope. God forbid we should “rebuke” them! Mother Teresa, who will soon be the newest Saint in the Church and whose charity knew no bounds, is looked at as a role model in this regard. And while she is a great Saint, there are very few of us who are or can ever be like her. But even in her charity, as a role model to the world, how many out of 6.6 billion souls converted? There is another spirit that used to be part of our Church. It is just as legitimate as the spirit of Mother Teresa. It is the spirit of St. John the Baptist: “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand! … [and] when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, ‘Brood of vipers! Who has shown you how to flee the wrath to come? Bring forth, therefore, fruit befitting repentance … ” Matthew 3:1, 7-8. It is the spirit of Jesus overturning the money-changers’ table in the Temple: “And Jesus entered the Temple of God and cast out all those who were selling and buying in the Temple, and He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, ‘It is written, “My House shall be called a House of Prayer”; but you have made it a den of thieves’ ” Matthew 21:12-13. It is the spirit of St. Jude, who in his Epistle wanted to talk about Love, Mercy and Salvation, but instead, because of heretics “found it necessary to write to you to contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the Saints. For certain men have stealthily entered in … ungodly men who turn the grace of God into wantonness” Jude verses 3-4. This great Apostle of our Lord, and His first cousin, who was privileged to be the one to carry the Shroud out of Jerusalem, had this to say about dealing with these heretics, since we do not know their eternal fate. This includes those who are judged by the Lord and even set for eternal damnation (see Jude verse 5): “And some who are judged, reprove; but others, save, snatching them from the fire. And to others be merciful with fear, hating even the garment which is soiled by the flesh” Jude verse 22. It is the spirit of St. John, the Lord’s beloved disciple, who, it is recorded, when he was in the public baths, spotted a heretic entering who preached a gospel that was contrary to the Truth. St. John took immediate action, ensuring those with him left quickly, before God, in His wrath, might bring the walls of the baths down upon those who were even within listening distance of the heretic. It is the spirit of St. Peter, who, before he was martyred, told the faithful: “You, therefore, brethren ... be on your guard lest, carried away by the error of the foolish, you fall away from your own steadfastness” II Peter 3:17. It is the spirit of St. James: “My brethren, if any one of you strays from the Truth and someone brings him back, he ought to know that he who causes a sinner to be brought back from his misguided way, will save his soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins” James 5:19. It is the spirit of Pope St. Felix III, whose words this web site is founded on. It is the spirit of St. Anthanasius, who, when confronted with the Arian heresy and ALL THE BISHOPS following suit, withstood excommunication rather than bow down to falsehoods against the teachings of the Apostles. That is why we, 17 centuries later, have the Nicene Creed — which should be said at every Mass — in our Church today. It is the spirit of St. Louis de Montfort, who was known as the “Saint who could put a curse on you.” In fact, after being taunted by a group of men for his Catholic beliefs, St. Louis predicted God would punish them! Three days later, all in this group were dead! And it wasn’t the only time St. Louis engaged in this activity for the honor and glory of God! When a wealthy landlord refused to let de Montfort erect a Cross by singing loud and spewing blasphemies, St. Louis said to him, “Woe to you! You will perish miserably — you and your family!” As Father Eddie Dohtery documents in his book, Wisdom’s Fool, which is a biography of this great Saint, “the awful prophecy came only too true, and the God of all charity speedily avenged the affront to His Grace by the terrors of His Justice! A few days [later], the man was suddenly seized with a trembling of his whole body, for which no physician could find a remedy …” see pages 172-173. Needless to say, the man and his family all died horrible deaths. Interestingly, it is this great Saint whom John Paul II has followed by using de Montfort’s consecration formula to the Blessed Virgin Mary. De Montfort loved to make “enemies” in favor of defending his Queen and wrote to his sister Louise, who was herself a nun, that “God takes pleasure, my dear sister, in seeing us both fight for Him … you in secret, myself in public … making war on the world and the worldly enemies of all Truth.” Have we, on this web site, The Great Spiritual Battle, gone too far? Are we judging when we should not judge? Or are we defending the Truth and, in so doing, shaking, rattling and arousing those who are asleep, or those who have fallen into the “error of foolishness,” or “misguided ways”? The question we ask all who read our stories is simple, Which Side Are You On? And there is no in between in this matter. The Lord Jesus told Saint Faustina why there is a circle of Thorns around His Sacred Heart. They are not, He told her, like the Crown of Thorns around His head — those thorns were put there by His enemies. The Thorns around His Sacred Heart, He told His Secretary of Divine Mercy, is from those who claim they love Him but instead hurt and anger Him! These thorns are from His so-called “friends”! And we all know, in our lives, we’ve had friends we can do without! Would you consider anyone your friend who dishonored your mother? These are those who think they are Jesus’ “friends,” the “lukewarm” souls who love to embrace “ecumenism” and not insult a “brother” or “sister” when, instead, these so-called “brothers and sisters” are offending God and His Mother! On this web site, we would rather insult a “brother” or “sister” then to let stand an obvious offense to God and His Mother! Remember, it was not us, but Him who told Sister Lucy the five reasons He sends people to hell. And they all revolve around offending His Mother! So when we write our articles and call a spade a spade, even daring to name names — a “sin” to those who sit on the lukewarm fence of “ecumenism” — are we doing a disservice to them? Are we “uncharitable”? Or, by rattling their cages and those who might follow or be inclined to follow, are we, instead, sounding an alarm that if it doesn’t go off now, will be too late for them when they’re dead? Others can try the methods of Mother Teresa. God calls many to work in this way. He has not called us — nor does He call everyone — to work in this way. Just ask St. Louis de Montfort. Others can try “ecumenism,” a sin we believe will lead to God’s Judgment against our own souls for failing to sound the alarm against those we know in our heart of hearts are wrong. Their judgment is our judgment. On the other hand, we do have and will continue to have charity for those we speak out against. We will continue to pray for them and plead that the Mediatrix of All Graces will grant them — through Her Spouse, the Holy Spirit — the necessary Light to turn from their path of destruction and “repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” A Kingdom that comes to us not only in the Second Coming, but when we, as individuals, die and are judged immediately. Therefore, we, as a Church, in our “ecumenism” have lost our way. We have confused the biblical admonition to have charity and love among ourselves as believers in the true Gospel with those who have fleeced the flock and led others astray in their heresy. For when it comes to the wolves in sheeps’ clothing, the Scriptures do NOT ask us to have charity outside of our prayers for them. In this “spirit of ecumenism,” we have gone from the Church Militant to the Church “wimp.” This is apparent in the pedophile and homosexual scandals that have manifested themselves within the hierarchy. This interior silence, under the guise of “obedience,” this “coverup” by the hierarchy — as well as the silence by the laity itself — has led to God’s Judgment. “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. But there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. For what you have said in darkness will be said in the light; and what you have whispered in the inner chambers will be preached on the housetops” Luke 12:1-2. This leaven of hypocrisy — which is the direct fruit of ecumenism and our silence — is even apparent in the infiltration of the Church in its most intimate levels. We will, therefore, with the Militancy of the Saints as our guide, and the Light and help of the Queen of Heaven and Earth, if it pleases Agnus Dei, our Lord, to“reprove; but others, save, snatching them from the fire. And to others be merciful with fear” — the fear of the Lord, the first fruit of the Holy Spirit. And so this web site, as St. Anthanasius did when the world turned from the Truth, will stand firm and defend our God and His Mother against those who defame Her as if She and Her messages were the devil himself. As we believe Mother Teresa herself would tell you, there will be no charity for them. © 2003 Agnus Dei Presents! The Reality of Purgatory |
