Congratulations Jacques!
We have a vast array of Hollywood “stars” and music “celebrities” to choose from, as well as politicians and “peaceful” demonstrators for the award.
However, we are thankful to report that the founder of le Hypocrite Award has, once again, put himself right at the top as the president of France thanked the pope this week for his anti-war stance.
Therefore, we are proud to present the Jacques le Hypocrite Award once again to Jacques himself for not only his double-standard politics, but for the fact that Chirac began his career as a card-carrying communist (they love the Church, don’t they?) and for his nickname as the “3-minute man” in regard to the many sexual escapades he engages in between political meetings (perhaps he is conducting a test of the rhythm method?). This is the second win for Jacques (how many more times will he win?).
As the evil of the war continues to unfold, we look forward to more candidates to vie for this prestigious award.
Today’s runner-up is “Catholic” Iraqi deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz who lovingly told coalition forces that they would find a “bullet” waiting for them as they continued their march to overthrow a man Aziz has helped to keep in power despite the numerous murders, rapes and genocide committed by the regime “Mr. Catholic” is part of.
Another fine, upstanding public role model of Christianity!
