And what about Billy-boy Clintonista receiving the real Body and Blood of Christ at a Mass while his aide stood in the Church with the nuclear codes?! |

| Our ‘politicians’ are no better! In fact, they’re probably even worse since they should be held to higher Catholic standards. Instead, we find them at the ‘communion’ rail of other sects to curry votes! Let’s see if we can get this all straight: John-boy is kneeling, but does he kneel to receive Communion in a Catholic Church? He could, of course, receive from a female Eucharistic minister, but is he entitled to receive from a woman who is dressed like a priest? Well, based on our ‘displaying himself in the Temple’ observation, protest-ants could have a field day speculating about the antichrist if skull-and-bones Kerry wins the election! Isn’t it interesting how our leaders in the Church won’t touch that touchy subject? |

| And in that ‘mix-up,’ it’s comforting to know that our cardinals are of one mind — depending on which mind one minds — when it comes to protestors who receive the Body and Blood of our Lord! We have no problem with the concept of the ‘Primary of Conscience,’ but since that truly is a matter between the individual and the Lord, must one flaunt it by wearing a sash? Of course, the fact that the Los Angeles Archdiocese encourages this behavior is to be expected. We believe the Vatican will never realize there is more trouble here than Boston could ever generate! |

The obvious legacy these two men share is, of course, in the collapse of the ‘evil empire.’ Indeed, as one of the co-authors of ‘His Holiness’ stated, ‘There was a psychological and emotional tie between the two that John Paul has not had with any other president.’ But there is another legacy that is, perhaps, even far more significant.
