| From the Mass in Honor of the Lord’s Holy Face: the Symbolism of the Eucharist in the Old Testament |

| For those who wanted to, Shrove Tuesday — the day before Ash Wednesday —was an opportunity to consecrate one’s self to the Holy Face of Jesus (and today or any day is a great day to do so as well). Besides the consecration, there was also a special Mass, approved by Pius XII in 1958, that honored the Holy Face of Christ. |

| In this Mass, Scripture verses were used to not only worship and honor Jesus, but to also relate to Him as the Lamb of God in symbolic Old Testament verses. We loved the fact that the Lord has ensured in this Mass dedicated to His Holy Face that the Truth of His Body and Blood in the Eucharist is borne out in the Epistle. Many times, in our conversations with those who do not believe in the Truth of the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist, they will ignore certain passages of Scripture which clearly bespeak of the “manna” that “came down from Heaven” John 6:51. Instead, they love to quote the Old Testament and ignore the New Testament verses, like the one in which Jesus specifically says, “Amen, amen I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood, you shall not have life in you” John 6:54. In fact, we find it absolutely spiritually amazing that in protest-ant versions of the Bible — which do not match the original translation of the Latin Vulgate, the world’s first and only true Bible — that the Lord would see fit to allow the verse in John 6:66 in the New International Version to clearly state that those who do not believe in the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist are NOT His disciples! As the Scriptures clearly teach, after the Lord speaks of the necessity to eat His Flesh and Blood, many were “scandalized” at such a suggestion. This is exactly like today’s protest-ants. And what does verse 666 state? “From this time many of His disciples turned back and no longer followed Him” New International Version, John 6:66. 666. Isn’t that the number of the “beast”? The number of the “anti-Christ”? How fascinating! Is God trying to tell us something in this incredible but true oddity? Of all the rewritten verses in the protest-ant Bible, it is beyond coincidence that the one that denotes those protesters who reject eating and drinking the Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist would be specifically numerically revealed at Chapter 6 verse 66 in the Beloved Disciple’s Gospel. While the protest-ants refuse to believe in the one true Bible, the Latin Vulgate, is God catching them in their own stubborn and mistaken interpretation of the Scriptures, one which completely contradicts every Saint and Christian who lived before the Middle Ages? We believe there was an absolute confirmation in this when we read the Epistle for the Mass dedicated to the worship of the Holy Face of Christ. In the Epistle, as the people of Israel tried to get to the Red Sea — which is symbolic of the Divine Mercy of Christ, red for Blood, and white for Water — the “people began to weary of their journey and labor, and speaking against God and Moses, they said: ‘Why didst thou bring us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread, nor have we any waters: our soul now loatheth this very light food [the “manna” that came down from Heaven!]. Wherefore, the Lord sent among the people fiery serpents, which bit them and killed many of them” Numbers 21:4-6. The people of ancient Israel, like the protest-ants of today, were complaining about the “manna” that came down from Heaven. The manna that everyone knows is Jesus, the life and blood of all mankind. In addition to this symbolism, the verses previous to the Israelites complaining about their “heavenly food,” register another complaint: “And the people wanting water, came together against Moses and Aaron … .” Numbers 20:2. And what did the Lord do to end their complaints? He used a “rock” to bring forth waters! “Hear ye, rebellious and incredulous: can we bring forth water out of this rock? … And when Moses had lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with the rod, there came forth water in abundance … ” Numbers 20:9-11. And yet, God punished Moses because he did not do exactly as the Lord had commanded! “Because you have not believed Me, to sanctify Me before the children of Israel, you shall not bring these people into the land, which I will give to them. This is the Water of contradiction, where the children of Israel strove with words against the Lord … ” Numbers 20:12:13. And that is what the protest-ants are doing today. They are “striving with words against the Lord” — THE WORD! They think they can outwit Him! They don’t have to believe what the “Rock” teaches! They think they know better than Him as to what He meant by all the biblical verses that they quote so often. The Church’s interpretation, as well as all the Saints, have no bearing on reality, as far as a protest-ant is concerned! They think that the Lord has not enlightened ANY human being previous to the “reformation.” And even here, they, and they alone today are correct in their “interpretation” of what the “Scriptures say”! They think that they do not have to be part of the “Rock” in order for life-giving waters to be brought forth in their lives. They think they do NOT have to eat and drink the Flesh and Blood of the manna that came down from Heaven in order to have “eternal life.” They think they know better than every Christian who lived in the 1st Millennium when there was only ONE Church! They think that the Church that offers the Body and Blood of Christ is the “harlot of Babylon.” We think that they think too much and cannot see the proverbial forest for the trees. We think, if Moses can be punished, what do you think the Lord has in store for all those who do not draw upon the living waters from the Rock? And we think that the Mass to worship and honor the Holy Face of Christ, which we celebrated yesterday, provided, as we went through the readings, another perfect example of protest-ant fallacies: not only can they NOT recognize the Face of their God and Savior, but they also cannot understand the symbolism of the Bible, whether it be found in the Old or New Testament. We think God has spoken loud and clear by allowing their version of their mistranslated Scriptures to clearly show them that those who do not eat and drink the Flesh and Blood of the “manna” that “came down from Heaven” — the Lord Jesus Christ, who allowed Himself to be scourged and beaten as He became the Eucharist for the world — are false believers who are nothing more than the 666 the Beloved Disciple warned us of: the spirit of the antichrist! “I can never tell how close a man is to God by how well he knows the Scriptures [for even satan knows the Scriptures]! I can tell how close a man is to God by how much he loves to say, ‘Hail Mary’ [for satan will NEVER say, ‘Hail Mary’]!
