St. Anthony of Padua:
The Hidden Secret Behind Fatima
We know many of our visitors to this web site are familiar with the Miracle of the Sun that occurred before 70,000 witnesses in Fatima, Portugal on October 13, 1917.

If you are not one of those, then this is a subject one should immerse themselves in as — along with the
Divine Mercy revelations of Jesus to St. Faustina — the revelations of the Virgin Mother of God to three shepherd children in 1917 are of the utmost importance for us to understand the history of the 20th Century.  A history one will not get in a masonic public school or even from your local Church.

Friday, June 13 is not an unlucky day.

In fact, it marks two important events to honor.

The first is that it marks the 86th year of the second apparition of Mary as the
Woman Clothed With the Sun to the children in 1917; apparitions which led to the incredible miracle of October 13.

It also marks the 772nd year since the death of St. Anthony of Padua.

And that is what this article is all about.

For we, as believers, need to start thinking
“outside the box.”

As the Lord proved by keeping
St. Anthony’s tongue incorruptible for more than seven centuries now, we must comprehend that St. Anthony is not dead.

He lives in a far better place than Terra Firma.

He lives in Heaven.

And so what is St. Anthony — the close confidant and friend of St. Francis of Assisi — doing in Heaven?  Is he just twiddling his thumbs?  Is it — as the protest-ants claim — that the Saints have no power of intercession for those who live on Earth?  Are they just off in some nether world with no interaction in the lives of people who still live?

Or is there evidence that the power of the Saints is so great, we cannot even begin to comprehend their ability to influence affairs on this planet!

We know from the Lord’s revelations to St. Faustina that when she was alive as a nun living in a convent, Jesus told her He was using her prayers to protect the nation of Poland.  Interestingly, when St. Faustina died in October 1938, by September 1939, the nazis invaded her native land and began a Holocaust against not only Jewish men and women, but anyone who opposed their system of belief.  (Among their victims will be a man, for those who may not know, who miraculously survived this Holocaust and is today known as Pope John Paul II.)

The protection of St. Faustina as a prayer warrior on Earth had ended.

But the protection and intercession of St. Faustina for those who invoked the
Divine Mercy of Jesus was just beginning.

We are using this example so that we can examine the same workings of wonder by the
Wonder Worker himself, St. Anthony of Padua.

We believe it is not an accident that Mary appeared to the children of the famous Fatima messages on one of the days that has been for seven centuries, the
Feast of St. Anthony.

While the evidence to support this leaves much to be desired in the temporal realm, the spiritual Truths, if examined with an open heart, are much stronger.

For again,
Heaven does nothing by haphazard selection — one can always be assured it is by design.  Perhaps a design hard for us to see from our position that holds a large disadvantage to it; but a clear and irrevocable juggernaut that, over time, ensures the Will of God is accomplished.

So what does St. Anthony have to do with Fatima?

First and foremost, let us not forget that he is a powerful ally of St. Francis.

As the Lord revealed to St. Margaret Mary who — as St. Faustina did with the
Feast of Divine Mercy — gave the Church the incredible Feast of the Sacred Heart, Jesus told this Bride of Christ that St. Francis had inherited the vacated throne of lucifer in Heaven!

In the fall of the rebellious angels, mankind — those who in free will truly love Jesus and Mary — has the ability, through the Blood of Christ, to be awarded, based on earthly performance, the various thrones vacated by one-third of Heaven’s former angels.  (Not everyone will get one, but better to strive for one than not to strive at all!  Can you imagine the “runner-up” prizes?!)

The greatest prize of all was, of course, the throne of lucifer.  Sorry, anyone who may be desiring this incredible treasure; it’s already awarded.  St. Francis, the first documented stigmatist and the Saint who will help the Lord to
“rebuild” His Church, as well as give the world the Manger scene and inspire his followers to bring the Passion of Christ to millions through the Stations of the Cross, EARNED THE RIGHT and blessings to the highest vacated throne.  (It is no longer “vacated”!)

How the Lord did this is a mystery to us, but a reality in the
Great Spiritual Battle!

Any other “thrones” up for grabs can only be won by those who continue to fight for the rights of Jesus and Mary on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Where does that leave St. Anthony of Padua?  A man who St. Francis considered to be his “bishop.”

As we discussed, the Lord has proven how extremely pleased he was with this great Saint and his preaching on the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and the Truth of our need to honor Mary as the
Queen of Heaven and Earth by maintaining before the world the outrageous miracle of Anthony’s tongue remaining incorruptible for seven centuries!

What throne has St. Anthony inherited?

No one has been given that information, but we suspect that if his best friend St. Francis received as a gift the vacated throne of lucifer, perhaps Anthony received the vacated throne of beelzebub, the “prince” of the fallen angels.  (Just a guess on our part — please don’t think of it as “gospel”!)

If true, this — or any other similar throne — would indicate that St. Anthony has a vast amount of power at his disposal;
power earned for his great faith on Earth by preaching on Christ in the Eucharist and defending Mary before heretics and blasphemers.  Even those in the Church who did not conform to these two powerful Truths found an overwhelming foe in St. Anthony, for he was not afraid to speak against the Catholic hierarchy when they were guilty of sin.  (Remember, was the Lord, once again, in need of rebuilding His Church when this great Saint lived?)

This brings us to Mary and Her messages in various apparitions.

As a background, it is important to know that St. Francis, along with St. Catherine of Siena, another powerful Saint, are both the patrons and guardians of Italy.

Despite the incredible strength and power of these two beloved by God, Mary specifically told the shepherd children in Her 1846 La Salette apparitions that
“Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist.”

That was 157 years ago.
Does anyone believe Mary’s words in these Church-approved messages have no validity to them; or do we see events today that indicate these words have taken on great meaning and a validity to them that Catholics pre-Vatican II could never have dreamed of?  (We’re not talking about Pope John Paul II here, but about many of those in the Catholic hierarchy who surround him.  What will happen when he dies and what direction will the Lord’s one true Church take then?  Lord Jesus Crucified, have mercy on us!)

Interestingly, despite the power of St. Francis and St. Catherine — and probably because of the
Great Spiritual Battle that surrounds the politics of such an important temporal kingdom as the See of Peter in Rome — Mary could not guarantee that the Eternal City and seat of the Vicar of Christ would never lose the faith.  The faith that has been handed down to us not in the liturgical and clergy abuses we have seen since Vatican II, but since the time of St. Anthony and previously.

But when Mary appeared to the shepherd children of Fatima more than seven decades later in 1917 (71 years, or a reversal of the number 17), She had a different message.

The children, at the behest of their mothers, were on their way before the second apparition to attend their local parish Mass.  A Mass to be conducted in a Church named after their town’s great patron Saint:  Anthony of Padua.

A Saint who is famous for his orthodox evangelization in Europe, especially in Italy, but who was originally born in Portugal.

A Saint who was famous — like his friend, St. Francis — for his desire to convert muslims from the
“darkness of islamism,” its pagan beliefs and into the Truth and Light of Catholicism.

A Saint whose nation threw off the yolk of islamic oppression.

For Portugal was once overrun by the
“darkness of islamism.” Its southern half part of the “moslem emirates.”

And therein lies the key to “Fatima.”  A town named after a princess who was named after the daughter of mohammed — the false prophet of islam.

With the crescent moon as the symbol of islam, it is, again, not an accident that Mary appears with the moon beneath Her feet.  For Mary is
not the daughter of mohammed.  She is the Daughter of the Eternal Father; and, as such, all others are subject to the Virgin Mother of God as their Queen!  Thus, the symbol of islam, that stubborn theology that seeks the destruction of Judaism and Christianity, is but a weak and temporal power beneath the Virgin’s heavenly feet!

We need only seek Mary’s intercession to ensure the defeat of islamic terrorism!

And St. Anthony is part of that power!

As we wrote in an earlier article, when St. Anthony died on the 13th of June,
he was singing a hymn to Mary as the last words to depart his earthly lips.

When Mary appeared to the children on June 13, 1917, 686 years later, it was to tell the children that God
“wishes to use you to make Me known and loved, to establish throughout the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart.  To all those who embrace it, I promise salvation and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by Me before His Throne!”

During this apparition to the three shepherd children of Fatima on the
Feast of St. Anthony, Mary also gave them a new prayer to end each decade of the Rosary with:  “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.  Save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy Mercy!”

As we have stated, the thirteenth is a special day to the Lord, especially if it falls on a Friday.  Not only does Heaven celebrate each and every apparition of Mary on the 13th, but it also remembers in June — not the death of St. Anthony — but his birth into Heaven!

In this celebration, God grants His Saints special protective and intercessory powers.  Powers that can only be used if asked for by the faithful or invoked in some other important way.  But the Saints — even if not called upon by earthly powers — have the right to secure favors from God on their own merits!

The nation of Portugal does not have a distinguished history.  It became a kingdom in the 12th Century and established a small empire in the 15th Century.  Later, it was ruled by Spain and invaded by France.  Finally, as the Catholic
Kingdoms of Christ have been eliminated by masonic revolutions, Portugal became a “republic,” which is defined as “any political order that is not a monarchy.”

So much for
Christ the King.

But that, today, is the political system of Portugal.

Just as there is a political system of Italy, the United States, or any other nation, that ignores, in today’s political climate, the Rights of
Christ the King.

But Portugal has something else to its credit.

It is the only nation on the face of the Earth in which, as She told Sister Lucy, the seer of Fatima, the Virgin guaranteed it will NOT lose the dogmas or the Truths of the Catholic faith!

A guarantee that was not given to the Eternal City of Rome, as apparent from the incredible La Salette messages!

How and why has Portugal been singled out for this great blessing by God despite the political and economic hardships all nations endured in the 20th Century?

Why would the Virgin make this statement about a nation that has little strategic importance in the modern world we currently live in?  Why was this favor granted?

It is, we believe, in the answer of the power and intercession of the Saints!

It is, we believe, in the simple fact that St. Anthony of Padua, who was born in Portugal, obtained from the Lord some powerful requests that Jesus — in love of the great Saint who preached the Truth about the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist — agreed to.

Requests such as lobbying God to let Mary appear as a sign to the world in a nation that once was islamic, in a town named after the daughter of a false prophet.

Requests such as letting Mary show Herself as the true Queen She is,
Clothed With the Sun — the Sun of Justice, Her Child, Jesus, the Son of God!  The same Holy Child that  St. Anthony held in his arms!

Requests such as obtaining the favor of his native land to never lose the faith!

Requests such as having the children of Fatima see their Queen and Mother on his own feast day and begin to speak prophecies and prayers of mercy that still echo today!

Requests such as asking God to give mankind a way out of war!

Requests such as asking God to show mankind a safe way to salvation through the
Immaculate Heart of the Woman St. Anthony honored with his last dying breaths from his own incorruptible tongue!

Requests such as asking God to include new prayers to help souls be saved from the fires of hell.

Requests such as asking God, if He will not guarantee the integrity of the Church, to guarantee the integrity of the faithful through the messages of Jesus’ Mother.

Did St. Anthony do these things?

We know it is all
“speculation” on our part and anyone can argue that this is not the case.

But can anyone argue that they are assured these prayers were NOT made by the great St. Anthony
and finally granted by God after seven centuries of this favored Saint’s heavenly lobbying?

Does anyone believe that the total power of St. Anthony in Heaven is relegated to helping people on Earth find lost articles?  (And we are not slighting this power for we have been, thankfully, the beneficiaries of it on many an occasion!  We just do not believe that this, or any other miraculous actions, is the sum total of St. Anthony’s capabilities.)

No matter what anyone may believe, one thing is clear:
the Saints are not sitting idly around in Heaven, twiddling their thumbs and wondering what to do next.

They are extremely busy.

Busy trying to save souls and to keep mankind from plummeting into the depths of the abyss.

And in that regard, St. Anthony is among the most powerful as evident from his relationship with the Saint who gained the vacated throne of lucifer.  A throne the stigmatist of Assisi was granted as a reward through his earthly faith and obedience to Jesus (not a corrupt hierarchy; for isn’t that why the Lord asked Francis to
“repair” His Church?).

St. Anthony’s tongue, as proven by its incorruptible nature, worked miracles on Earth.  And his faith, too, gained him a throne of power in Heaven.

And we believe, as evident from the design of Mary’s appearances during the
Feast of
St. Anthony
to the children of Fatima, that this great patron of faith, has been working miracles with prayers from his spiritual tongue in Heaven as well!

By putting together the clues that St. Anthony loves Portugal as his homeland; that Mary appeared on his feast day; that the
Queen of Heaven and Earth ensured that one nation and one nation alone would be guaranteed NOT to lose the faith, one must question how these events in the Plan of Heaven relate to one another.

For there are no disconnects in the Plans of God.

There are no “accidents” or casual acts in the Plans of God.

Therefore, who could be behind this great fortune that has been granted the nation of Portugal?  A nation the world pays little attention to but was the focus of a great heavenly plan.  A nation whose greatest strength lies in the fact that millions travel to Fatima to visit the Shrine dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and Her Apocalyptic messages.

In this reality, the apparitions of Mary at Fatima are the evidence for the power of the prayers of the Saints to intercede for the sake of souls on Earth.

Prayers that bring into focus the fact that
St. Anthony’s intercession — if we think “outside the box”is the hidden secret behind the Miracle of Mary’s appearances and messages at Fatima, in of all places, Portugal:  the native land of the Wonder Worker who so loved the Virgin, he died singing a hymn to Her, the last earthly words of praise he spoke from his incorruptible tongue!

The Feast of St. Anthony of Padua falls on June 13th, a date that coincides with the second apparition of the Blessed Virgin to the shepherd children of Fatima, Portugal.
The last words spoken by the incorruptible tongue of St. Anthony, which is still on display seven centuries later in this monstrance in Padua, Italy, were a hymn to the Blessed Virgin Mary!
Our Lady of Fatima,
pray and intercede for us!
