| As we stated in our comment on the murder of a pedophile, we are watching so many “soften” God’s hard-hitting message regarding the brutal slaying of the defrocked pedophile, John Geoghan. We found it fascinating that so many “commentators” and even “Catholic” web sites have never ONCE mentioned the eternal punishment this evil wolf in sheep’s clothing is serving for Eternity. Instead, we are amazed that even his victims lament that he did not “serve” his full punishment in a human prison! It is so obvious that many have truly lost faith that God’s Justice will NOT be mocked. Nor does anyone seem to wish to speak out that this murder was a punishment God permitted as a warning to others! Everyone seems to be “afraid” or just plain “lukewarm” to discuss the eventual and ONLY possible end to such a scandal-plagued life as that lived by Geoghan! In fact, we even read a priest who compared the sex-abuse scandal to the “dark night” of the soul — as if this was just a “cleansing” the Church is going through. The article in question even had the audacity to state that the Church was nothing more than a “scapegoat” in this scandal and was being hounded by the media! Sorry. As the ONLY institution with any legitimate claim to moral authority, it is JUSTIFIED that the media should make such an issue regarding such outrageous, unethical and IMMORAL behavior, not only by those who engaged in it, but specifically because of those in authority who COVERED IT UP! For we, as believers, are set to higher standards than those who do NOT claim belief in the morals and dogmas of the Rock on which Christ founded His Church! That is why the pope had no choice but to accept the resignation of the bishop of Phoenix after his public hit-and-run scandal! And again, as we stated, the article seeking to soften the blow of the scandal was promoted by the very same web site that has in the past, used as an excuse, the “low” numbers of priests involved in the scandal as a justification to claim everything will, at some point, return to “normal.” That the Church is still “solid”! What a whitewash! Well, guess what. We vehemently disagree! It is outrageous how these self-serving viewpoints refuse to discuss the spiritual bankruptcy of a “Catholic” hierarchy that allowed John Geoghan to even exist for a generation as they shuttled him around, victimizing at least 130 people! (By the way, that equates to a minimum of 3 children a year. But that’s such a “low” number when examined in the light of the millions of children who interacted with priests! Will the absurdity of such a statement end this self-serving argument that everything is okay with the Church?! What if one of those three children per “year” were one of our own children! As we watched many of the victims of Geoghan interviewed regarding his death, it was apparent they suffered from spiritual timidity and it was paramount to their character!) Instead of being “self-serving” and suggesting that we must “strictly remain obedient to the bishops” who have lost so much of their moral authority through their spiritual bankruptcy, we will suggest something far more radical than those who continue, in their naïve spiritual blindness, to pretend everything will be okay. We suggest that the Church — in imitation of Israel — has now come full circle; a sign of the times that God, as He did when He grew disgusted with His people’s behavior, will soon radically change His relationship to us, as we did and continue to do with Him! How does the pedophile scandal in the Church relate to God’s interaction with the people of Israel? It is in the Scriptures. “ ‘For the children of Israel, and the children of Juda, have continually done evil in My eyes from their youth: the children of Israel who even till now provoke Me with the work of their hands,’ said the Lord. ‘For this city hath been to Me a provocation and indignation from the day that they built it, until this day, in which it shall be taken from My sight: because of all the evil of the children of Israel, and of the children of Juda, which they have done, provoking Me to wrath, they and their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets, the men of Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And they have turned their backs to Me, and not their faces: when I taught them early in the morning, and instructed them, and they would not hearken to receive instruction. And they have set their idols in the House, in which My Name is called upon’ ” Jeremias 32:30-34. We, today, are like the children of Israel of old. Need proof? Just turn on the TV! Are we not continually doing “evil” in the sight of the Lord? Are we not “provoking” Him with the work of our hands? Since we have built the new Babylon, New York City, and our masonic capital, Washington, D.C., that insists the creature’s rights are above the Creator’s, are they not a “provocation” and “indignation” to our Lord until HE removes them from His sight? Have not our “kings,” (political leaders), “princes” (business leaders), “priests,” and “prophets” (televangelists) “turned their backs” to God? Is the Truth of this not evident in the very fact that since the liturgical abuses brought about in the “spirit of Vatican II” our “priests” have PHYSICALLY turned their “backs” and show “not their faces” to our Lord when they say Mass? Did our God not instruct us otherwise? Isn’t it interesting that the pedophile scandal should occur at a time within the Church’s history AFTER it decided that the priest no longer needed to face the Creator, who should be — not the congregation — the total focus of the Mass? And have we not, whether believer or unbeliever, set “idols” in our house, His House (and we don’t mean statues of Mary or the Saints here, we mean musicians and other creatures who dominate the Mass today). Yet, hypocritically and still — especially in time of trouble — we call upon His “Name,” despite the fact that we have NOT properly worshipped Him for days, weeks, months, or years! “Oh, Lord, spare us from the islamic horde that threatens our peace.” The scourging of islam against Judaism and Christianity is a direct result of both religions turning their backs on God! How does this relate to today’s scandal in the Church? The Lord spoke the words we quoted to the children of Israel in anger because their “priests” “offered sacrifice to baal, and poured out drink offering to strange gods, to provoke” Him “to wrath!” Jeremias 32:29. And the Lord told the Israelites that in retribution He shall allow their city to be delivered into the “hands of the Chaldeans, and into the hands of the king of Babylon, and they shall take it”! Jeremias 32:28. Isn’t that the very area we today call Iraq, a place where a war in the 3rd Millennium between islam and Christianity has not ended but continues?! Many can say that we are far off base with our concept here. They are the same people who would have us believe that all is “okay” and the abuse crisis is just a temporary anomaly. The murder of John Geoghan and its horrific method proves otherwise. In light of the prophecies of La Salette, Fatima, Divine Mercy, etc., we strongly believe and suggest the pedophile scandal within the Church — exasperated by the moral ineptitude of a hierarchy that covered it up — is a marker set down by God to distinguish the Church from these warnings given prior to the abuses. Abuses accomplished in a terminology we’ve come to know as the “spirit of Vatican II”! A “spirit” that has made a mockery of the true sacredness of the Church! Indeed, the media still ensures it mocks this sacredness by incorrectly referring to the defrocked pedophile under the title he no longer deserves — “father”! It is a spiritual atomic bomb the antichrists of the media are using as their weapon in their continuing coverage to subconsciously drive home the fact that this evil was done in the Name of God and the Catholic Church. It is, for the uninitiated regarding masonic propaganda techniques, a perfect tool for the media to use to make this claim — from their perverted history of the Crusades, the Inquisition and Shroud of Turin. The coverage of the scandal allows the scoffers to say, “we told you so!” Unfortunately, the behavior of the bishops who permitted the evil, possessed personality of John Geoghan, have, in reality, made the major contribution to this scandal — whether wittingly or unwittingly. For they have sacrificed children just as the priests of Israel did in the Old Covenant. In this light, we have come full circle. The Lord, as any astute observer can clearly see, always works in a full circle, until the Alpha and Omega are joined with the wheat separated from the chaff! (see Matthew 13:24-30.) We believe we are now, in the Church, like the Israelites of old, at the Omega of God’s time clock. The New Covenant has, in many ways, come full circle in mimicking the Old evil exhibited by the priests and the people. The Lord has spoken loudly and clearly that there are great penalties, as witnessed by the murder and eternal punishment of a priest gone bad, for those who turn their backs on Him. For a soul with such sins cannot stand before a God of Holiness and Justice! Of its own accord, the soul will flee from the Presence of God! We have said this in many articles in the past, but we reiterate it again. We believe all of these incidents — crimes against God, His Holiness, His Justice, His Mother, His Church — can only lead to one course of action: our God is about to make an incredible move. When, we don’t know; how, we don’t know. But He will not — and cannot — allow the current state of affairs, whether secular or spiritual to continue on their present course. He will step in and change that course! Not for our sake, but for His sake. For His Mother’s sake. For His honor and Her glory! We believe that the death of John Paul II will be a defining time for the world — and, even more critically, a defining time for the Church. The very Omega of a Church whose roots in the Alpha began two millennia ago. In the upheaval that will follow, the Lord will, once again, as only He can do, separate the wheat from the chaff. For with the murder of John Geoghan, the central focal point of the Church’s worst scandal, we, like the Israelites, have now come full circle. The Lord, as He did with the Old, will remake the New. In the coming storm, we must be spiritually prepared. In this storm, let us not, as believers — unlike many in the hierarchy today — let the Lord find us with idols in our home, our backs turned to Him or refusing to receive His instruction. As for the hierarchy and the priests, if they wish to be found without idols, they can begin by throwing out their TV sets and VCRs! Let them, instead, get back on their knees before the Blessed Sacrament, praying the Rosary and consecrating their lives, their parishes, their neighborhoods, their political leaders, their nations, their superiors, to Jesus and Mary! And let Him, we pray, find us all who claim to believe in Him with our faces turned toward Him pleading for forgiveness from the evil our “kings,” “princes,” “priests,” and “prophets” have been engaging in for the last generation that has provoked Him to His wrath. A generation that began with John Geoghan’s first victim. But are we ready for Jesus to change that which is familiar to us? Even if that change does not come within a year, a decade or a lifetime? We began this web site with the concept that no new pope, no new president, no new world leader can solve the world’s problems. Only He can. But do we really want Him to? We must, if we truly believe, not only pray for Him to do so, but be READY for Him to do so.
