Reviving the Church Militant!

Prayers for the Week
A Prayer Each Day to Worship God
or to Honor Specific Saints!
Let's face it.  We have become the Church "wimp."  Not only before our fellow man, but most importantly before our God and Judge!

Here is a way for us to escape from the Church “wimp” and get back to the Church Militant.

In order to overcome the deteriorating path the Church continues to fall into, it is imperative for the faithful to work overtime — overtime in prayer! The prayers are all there for us, we need only to pick them up again.

And lest one accuse us of not be “ecumenical,” we do not wish to return to the Church Militant of condemnation.  But we
insist on returning to the Church Militant of dogmatic truths.  We will NOT be the Church wimp when it comes to defending the Lord and His Mother, but neither can we condemn those or force conversion upon those who choose to believe otherwise.  Nor are we making up any “new” beliefs.  The beliefs we defend have been taught and defended by the Church for 2,000 years — until the "spirit" of Vatican II blew in.

Then, somewhere along the way, the Church lost its way.  It’s now time to bring the ship about to its past glory of proclaiming the Truth, the Way and the Life.  Let others proclaim a different doctrine or belief, we will stick with the Saints!

And in the past, one of the great pious devotions of the faithful was to dedicate each day of the week to the various manifestations of God in His Glory and to those personalities closest to Him!  Since Vatican II, that devotion has fallen by the wayside — along with the spirituality of the Church!

To revive that spirit — the spirit of the Church Militant — we offer these devotions here for access every day of the week.  Depending on the day, click on the relevant link to worship and honor God, and give love and veneration to those who were essential to His plan.

From time to time, depending on the day, week, month or season, we will change these prayers to reflect the necessary devotion.

And remember, worship and devotion knows no boundaries; so, if you like what you see, you can say these prayers any day to love God and respect His family!
