Who Is the Deceptive ‘Angel of Light’?

While many web sites will be focusing — and rightfully so — on the
Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe — we want to take a different perspective in this article.

A Perspective on the News That No One Dares to Discuss!

To honor Mary on Her great feast day, instead of promenading all the incredible miracles and history of Guadalupe, we want to continue our attack against the
biblical idiots in defense of our Queen and Her Honor!

This is especially so as the scandals continue to reverberate throughout the Catholic Church (and elsewhere)!  But please remember, what human beings do is in NO WAY a reflection of the Truths of the dogmas of the true faith — the true faith that has been handed down to us from the 1st Millennium Church.

We, as believers, should never let the behavior of bad priests, bad popes, bad cardinals, bad nuns, bad bishops, bad Catholics, bad Christians, or bad people make us deny these Truths.  Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, despite what we, as sinners, may do.  The Lord cannot be present in the Eucharist for 1,500 years and then suddenly not be present because the people didn’t like the way the hierarchy ran things.

In this regard, we have been spending quite a bit of time proving that the Lord’s Mother, the Ever-Blessed Virgin Mary, as She has been known since the 1st Millennium, is, according to the Scriptures, the
“Woman Clothed With the Sun.” In proving it, it is necessary to attack the protest-ant position that apparitions of Mary — from Guadalupe to Fatima, etc. — are deceptions of the evil fallen angel, lucifer, satan, the devil, the serpent, the dragon, etc., disguised as an “angel of light” to “fool God’s elect.”  This is a position that has been promulgated by many evangelical and “born-again” Christians.  It is a position that is very popular among the “left-behind” crowd.

But God did not say in the Scriptures that the deceptive angel of light will come disguised as a woman clothed with the sun!

No, God told us that the
Woman Clothed With the Sun gave birth to the Man Child who will rule the nations with a rod of iron!  That Man Child is, of course, Jesus, as everyone recognizes; but protest-ants seem confused as to who this Woman is; as if someone other than Mary gave birth to the Lord.

It is amazing that instead of Mary — the only person who could possibly be designated as the one who gave birth to the world’s Savior — protest-ants seem to love to substitute the nation of Israel or the Body of Believers or ANTYHING ELSE THEY CAN COME UP WITH THAT HELPS THEM TO ESCAPE THE FACT THAT THE SCRIPTURES CLEARLY TEACH MARY IS THEIR QUEEN!

Their cry is much like that of the pharisees and scribes of Jesus’ time, who, symbolically, when they handed the Lord over to Pilate, said:  “We will NOT have this Man as our King!”

Well, Jesus proved them wrong by His Resurrection, and whether the pharisees and scribes  liked it or not, Jesus was, IS, and always will be THEIR KING and God!

The same will be so for the protest-ants, who today cry, “WE WILL NOT HAVE THIS WOMAN FOR OUR QUEEN!”

Jesus will prove them wrong, too.  Just don’t get caught up with them and suffer their lot when they find out how terribly and ETERNALLY wrong they are!

If, therefore, apparitions of Mary and Her messages are NOT deceptions of the angel of light, what other candidates can fit the bill?  We all know, of course, that ultimately, this deceptive angel is none other than the evil one himself.

But what is the ACTUAL description of these deceptions and how does the Bible tell us the evil one will disguise himself so that he appears to be good, even godly and of Christ?

The warning specifically comes from the Apostle Paul in II Corinthians 11:14.  But remember our admonition, BIBLICAL IDIOTS do NOT take scriptural readings in their context.  They do a very nice job of stripping the verses of their meanings by pulling one line out of context to suit their own doctrines and beliefs — the doctrines of demons.

Here is what Paul actually said in that chapter.  For the sake of space, we will take only the relevant words from the verses; but those interested, please read ALL of Chapter 11:

Verse 7:
“… did I do you wrong when I humbled myself that you might be exalted, preaching to you the Gospel of God free of charge?”

Hmm, so at the beginning of identifying the deceptive angel of light, Paul starts by talking about not receiving MONEY in exchange for preaching.

Verse 13:
"For they are false prophets, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.  And no wonder, for satan himself disguises himself as an angel of light.  It is no great thing, then, if his ministers disguise themselves as ministers of justice.  But their end will be according to their works!”

Wow!  So in the context of this Scripture, Paul is warning us against those who, FOR THE SAKE OF A BUCK, preach the Gospel of Christ.  They, like satan, are deceptive angels of light — not women or a woman clothed with the sun.

We don’t know about you, but we get this creepy feeling that we just, again, described the biblical idiots.  People who are making a lot of $$$ writing about the “rapture,” or telling poor souls that if they don’t give that 10-percent weekly/monthly tithe to them, God is going to punish them!  Of course you are not being blessed; it’s not your sins that prevent the blessing, it’s how much money you’re sending to your favorite televangelist!

Let’s look at this again from the perspective of the biblical idiots and their accusation that the messages and apparitions of Mary are a deception by the angel of light and see if the visionaries who were involved have made a good living preaching a so-called “false” message.

   *  Sister Lucy, the only surviving seer of Fatima, owns a Penthouse on New York’s 5th Avenue, drives a very luxurious car and bedazzles people with her outrageous jewelry.  Oh, and by the way, did you see Sister Lucy’s incredible new hairdo?  We just love the color!

No, we don’t think that’s correct.  The last time we saw a photograph of Sister Lucy she was still in the same convent, wearing the same nun’s habit with her head covered and making the same Rosary beads and Scapulars she has for the last eight decades or so.  In fact, Sister Lucy is known for her desire NOT to seek worldly pleasures or publicity.

     *  St. Juan Diego, the Aztec Indian who first saw Mary as the
Woman Clothed With the Sun in 1531, became an extremely wealthy man, sought the governorship of Mexico and was known to sell images of Our Lady of Guadalupe for a quick buck.

No, we don’t think that’s correct, either.  According to history, Juan Diego spent the rest of his life in a little house near where the apparitions occurred telling the incredible story to other Indians and helping them to convert to the true faith.

     *  There is another woman in the 20th century who, like Sister Lucy, said she had visions of Jesus and Mary.  In her diary,
Divine Mercy in My Soul, this woman said she was also instructed on the importance of saying the Hail Mary.  She was given what the Lord described to her as the Divine Mercy Chaplet.  And Jesus said in these messages that in order for His Divine Mercy to be shed in this chaplet on the souls of the dying, He specifically requested that among the prayers to be included was the Ave Maria.  The woman who received these instructions is now known as St. Faustina.

Before her death, St. Faustina made a ton of money on her diary, sold the instructions to recite the chaplet and laughed all the way to the bank.

No … again, we are positive that’s incorrect.  St. Faustina died of tuberculosis, a disease in which you drown in your own fluids; the same death one would experience if one was dying on a cross.  She also died in her chosen convent in her personal cell wearing her habit.

While these are just a few of the hundreds of examples of people who experienced true visions and messages from Jesus and Mary, never, in any case, have the authenticate and Church-approved visionaries displayed a want of worldly pleasures or treasures, or fame.  Indeed, it is just the opposite.

That’s interesting — because what does the Bible teach us regarding who is control of the world’s kingdoms?  Who is the prince of this world?  Why it is none other than the ol’ evil deceptive fallen angel of light.  And when he gets involved with deceiving people, you can bet your bottom ol’ dollar that a ton of money is going to be part of it.

If someone today claimed to have visions of Mary and was making a lot of money, we’d be the first to be skeptical.  Heaven doesn’t work that way.  The examples of Jesus and His Apostles proves it.  And the Apostle Paul told us so.

Therefore, we can be assured that you won’t find the work of the deceptive angel of light in Mary’s messages, for there is no earthly return on investment.  Mary’s work involves heavenly rewards.

But you will find the work of the deceptive angel of light in those who are making big-time money off the Gospels, filling up those huge stadiums and “healing” people left and right.  The Bible itself warns us of these “deceitful workers.”

Haven’t you seen them all around us?

But do not be alarmed.
“ ... their end will be according to their works!”

Perhaps the best way to end our first look at these false prophets of our time is to remember the words of the great Saint Louis de Montfort.

Saint Louis wrote [with a little embellishment] that he could
“never tell how close a man is to God by how well he knows the Scriptures” [for even satan, the deceptive angel of light, knows the Scriptures]!  St. Louis said that he could tell how close a man is to God “by how much he loves to say, Hail Mary” [for satan will never say, Ave Maria]!
