the Divine Mercy Light dims in
the Omega of Fatima
It ended with Pope John Paul II.
It was no “coincidence” that the last surviving seer of Fatima, Sister Lucy, died on February 13, 2005.
By March 13, John Paul II was gravely ill, leaving the hospital after almost dying.
His “protectoress” on Earth was no longer alive to pray for him!
It was the same with his native land, Poland.
The Lord told Saint Faustina that she was the “protectoress” of that Catholic stronghold; that it was her prayers that were keeping that nation from being chastised for its sins.
Warsaw, at that time, was the abortion capital of Europe!
In 1938, St. Faustina died; in 1939, the antichrist struck as the Lord’s Hand of Protection was removed from Karol Wojtyla’s native land.
The many times that this man survived when others would have died is a testimony to the prayers of someone else who is not perceived as his “protectoress” in this way; but it is, as the death of John Paul II proves, the prayers of Sister Lucy who dedicated her life to praying for the pope.
Little did Sister Lucy know (or perhaps she did?) — this humble Carmelite nun who lived the messages of Fatima — that as she prayed for other popes during the course of the 20th Century, her prayers were also being applied to the life of Karol Wojtyla, the man who would become the pope of “Mary’s secret.”
The very pope who would again miraculously escape death from the hands of a communist-hired assassin (proof of the “errors” spread by Russia!) on the 64th anniversary of the 1st apparition at Fatima!
Now, a month after the death of Sister Lucia, Pope John Paul II — the “Divine Mercy Pope” who was the “spark from Poland” prophesied by St. Faustina — fell victim to the hand of death that had eluded him time and time again at, of course, the pleasure and Will of God.
A God who does nothing by accident!
A God who completely took over the world’s media — the very kingdom run by His Queen’s adversary — as the nations of the globe stood transfixed before the television set listening to the news of the fading pontiff’s life.
A life which miraculously ended as only God could have controlled!
A passing into Heaven not just on the eve of the Divine Mercy Feast as so many have observed — the very feast John Paul II instituted in the Great Jubilee Year — but ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH!
A day in which the Fatima seers were told in 1917 that this special day is to be dedicated to the Queen of Heaven and Earth, the Mother of God!
A day in which the messages of Fatima asked that we pray the Holy Rosary and make reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
A day which is preceded by the First Friday of the month, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus — the very day in which the Divine Mercy Pope’s heart began to weaken and his body reacted to the cross of suffering John Paul II had endured for his Lord. A heart that was beating in time with the Heart of Christ on the Cross.
And now, on this special Fatima Marian feast day — the 1st Saturday of the month that coincided with the very eve of the Divine Mercy Feast — the pope of Mary’s Fatima secret, who had dedicated his pontificate to Her, lay dying as the Mass of Divine Mercy Sunday was celebrated late that Saturday evening in his papal apartment.
With those in St. Peter’s Square praying the Rosary at the same time, it was, for the Lord a coup de grace before a world which has continually ignored the message of Fatima for 88 years!
A message that John Paul II not only lived but was a part of right up to his very last word as he uttered “Amen” after the prayers of the Rosary were completed!
A Fatima message first disregarded by a previous pope who disobeyed his Queen when he did not release the secret in 1960.
A Fatima message ignored by most of the Lord’s bishops when they did not join with the Holy Father in the consecration of Russia as their Queen had asked.
A Fatima message forgotten by most members of a Church who apparently do not have the time or care to spend 15 minutes on the first Saturday of ANY month consoling the Mother of God who, in Her love for Her children, spent Her first Saturday after Her Son’s Crucifixion in sadness and tears.
But April 2, 2005 changed all that.
It was a message from Heaven itself to the entire world that this is what we should all be doing on first Saturdays.
Exactly what John Paul II did every day of his life.
Pray the Rosary!
In amazement we watched as CNN, Fox and other major media outlets quietly permitted the recitation of the Glorious Mysteries from Rome in honor of the life of the Divine Mercy Pope.
On October 7, 2000 — the Feast of the Holy Rosary instituted to commemorate Mary’s victory over islamic terrorists! — Pope John Paul II had presided over the recitation of the Rosary as Sister Lucy led the final Glorious Mystery: the crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth!
Now, five years later, before the world, the Lord — in great symbolism — pre-emptied the world’s media from its sports and entertainment sleep and recaptured the high ground in the battle between Light and darkness.
In the death of the Divine Mercy Pope, the world heard the message of Fatima prayed throughout every television set on Earth.
It was, as 9/11, another global experience and warning to the world’s erring inhabitants.
The question is, as He looked into the hearts of the world’s individuals, how many received the message, even if but for one simple moment in time?
How many continued to engage in a sports activity, household chore, or found it annoying that such blatant “Catholicism” was spreading throughout the airwaves of our one-world global media?
As the Holy Father lay dying, we were shocked at some of the callous, evil and irreverent remarks that were made over the many message boards on the internet.
But the Lord is not fooled by those whose hearts are cold or even “lukewarm.”
For again, it is no “accident” that the death of the Divine Mercy Pope occurred on the last day of the nine-day Divine Mercy Novena!
A novena dedicated to “lukewarm souls,” souls whom the Lord states “wound My Heart most painfully. My Soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this Cup away from Me, if it be Your Will!’ For them, the LAST hope of salvation is to flee to My Mercy.”
A Mercy that is offered today to the most evil of sinners.
A Mercy that was offered in the sacrifice of the dying pope.
A Mercy that was, again, because of the pope’s passing into his heavenly reward, witnessed throughout the world as many faithful bishops and priests celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday and the media continued to focus on the rituals of the Catholic Church.
A Mercy, however, that — like the message of Fatima upon the death of Pope Karol Wojtyla — is coming to an end.
In the death of John Paul, the Divine Mercy Light dims in the Omega of Fatima which reached its apex in the death of Sister Lucy.
The Divine Mercy message began in the Garden of Olives when the Lord did not refuse the Cup of Suffering despite the fact that “lukewarm souls” caused our King “the most dreadful loathing.”
A Mercy whose greatness was opened to its fullness in the beginning Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary — the Mother of Mercy — when the pope of Mary’s secret opened wide the Jubilee Doors of the Church to the world in the Great Jubilee Year of Divine Mercy 2000.
Doors which spiritually remain ajar in 2005 as the Divine Mercy Light grows dimmer.
Doors which are now closing to a darkened world that, despite the hijacking of the secular media by the very King of Mercy Himself, continues to turn its back on Him and rejects the messages of Fatima and Divine Mercy.
A world which continues to kill the innocent whether in the womb or lying helpless. (Is it a “coincidence” that the Lord took Terri Schiavo into His arms 13 days after her feeding tube was removed?)
Now God in His Infinite Wisdom has combined these two 20th-century messages — Fatima and Divine Mercy — for all the world to see.
There is no longer any separation between the two.
Their messages are and always have been one and the same.
Therefore, there will be no excuses for anyone who claims otherwise; just as there will be no excuses for anyone that they did not know who the Savior of the world is since the Gospel has now been preached throughout the world.
What, then, will the world do after it buries the Divine Mercy Pope?
Will it continue to follow the very path that the Lord Jesus complained to St. Faustina about?
A path in which He waits “for souls, and they are indifferent toward Me. I love them tenderly and sincerely, and they distrust Me. I want to lavish My graces on them, and they do not want to accept them. They treat Me as a dead object, whereas My Heart is full of love and mercy.”
If the world — as it did after 9/11 — goes back to its unholy ways and even the new “lukewarm” Church continues to treat our Lord and King as a “dead object” — especially with such callousness in the Sacrament of the Altar — we can be assured of only one thing: the Doors of Mercy will close to Earth’s inhabitants!
And then it will not just be the death of the Divine Mercy Pope that the world will mourn, but the death — the Omega on Earth — of Divine Mercy itself!
For as the Lord Himself told St. Faustina and today warns a disbelieving world, when He comes as the Just Judge, those who refused “to pass through the doors of My Mercy must pass through the doors of My Justice”!
