Its Dead Head Again
A few months ago, this box was more alive than those who once entombed it.
Then, as it was seized upon by “scholars” as “proof” that Jesus had “brothers,” it was, interestingly, damaged in shipping.
Although the inscription on the “ossuary box” in question was proven by competent Israeli experts to be a forgery, the media continued its frenzy in promulgating the lie that the reference to Jesus’ “brother” proved that the Catholic doctrine on the perpetual virginity of Mary was “wrong.”
Now the box is back in Israel again, and it rears its dead head once more.
This reminds us of the Shroud and the absurdity that no matter how much scientific evidence is presented to prove the cloth is NOT a “painting,” the more the media spreads the lie.
We’ll wait and see how the new investigation of this particular archaeological disaster fares; but if history is a competent witness, we believe Truth will once again take another battering as the “ossuary box” comes under the microscope of those who have tried, and will continue to do anything, to relegate Jesus and Mary into mythological status.
When all else fails and these same “scholars” have rewritten the Bible, watered down dogma and disputed the Truth of the Shroud, we need only look at the Face of Christ on the cloth and know the reality of the Great Spiritual Battle. A battle these “scholars” cannot recognize as evident from the fact that they do not recognize Him.
A battle in which the Virgin Mother of God stood before the Face of Christ at the Foot of the Cross. A battle in which She now sits at the Right Hand of Her Son interceding for Her children as She once interceded for Her Child.
A battle in which we must remember these same types of age-old “scholars” — with dead heads, hearts and souls — once crucified our Lord even when He stood right before their eyes!
