Among the definitions of blasphemy: claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.
There is no one in the sane world who does not understand the implications of the “claim” by those of the Raelian cult this week that they have created the world’s first cloned baby.
There is no one who does not understand that in the Great Spiritual Battle the fact that the baby in question was supposedly born the day after Christmas and was a girl named “Eve” is an absolute takeoff on the miraculous birth of the Boy Child Jesus. The supposed newborn is a child who in reality has no earthly father as her DNA, if one believes the so-called “scientist” of this unbelievable cult, comes from her mother. The baby is, theoretically, an identical twin of its mother.
Since the Raelians claim that mankind was created by UFO aliens and that Jesus was a clone, this takeoff on the Lord’s story is an obvious influence of satanic inspiration. For the baby is truly an antichrist, whether one wants to accept that or not.
Why? Because this baby’s so-called birth falls under a pattern that is apparent to all who understand that the Lord’s enemy — the evil one, the devil — cannot create life but only mimic the Creator. This leads, of course, to the ultimate question: since God breathed life into His creation, is the breath of life from God included or excluded in a clone?
The Raelians can also lay claim to another satanic influence in that form of paganism and freemasonry that the world loves to embrace. Ra is the name of the sun “god” of Egypt, a favorite of freemasons, and “el” denotes that which is of God in the Hebrew language. Therefore, these followers of “Rael” form a losing combination that is unmistakably a mimic of the true Son of God who was born in Bethlehem two millennia ago.
But while there will be plenty of editorials and “scientific” investigations of the claims made by the Raelians of “Clonaid” in the next several weeks — with the majority of them avoiding any allusions to the critical spiritual aspects of this story — all mankind instinctually knows this is a new and dangerous game we are playing as a species. We, like Dr. Frankenstein, are creating life with unknown consequences.
And that fits our first definition of the word blasphemy.
So we will let the world’s pundits and scientists continue to delve into the truth or untruth of these claims which, in the Spiritual Battle, purposely take away from mankind’s focus on the miracle of Jesus’ birth.
BLASPHEMY INSIDE BETHLEHEM:
But we wish to delve into a different form of blasphemy that is revolving around the birthplace of the Lord. This blasphemy falls under this definition of the word: it is an irreverent act, attitude or utterance regarding something consecrated.
This blasphemy, unlike the cloned baby, did not fall outside of Bethlehem, but inside the birthplace of the Lord. In the very heart of His birthplace. In the environs of the Church of the Nativity on no less a day than the celebration of His Birth, an irreverent act, attitude and utterance was recorded in the place consecrated to the Prince of Peace.
And it came from no less than the mouth of one who is supposedly the “representative of the Vatican.” The very group of people who should be guarding against blasphemy and ensuring God’s people are not led astray by activities, like cloning, that can be easily labeled as of the antichrist. For the antichrist, as St. John states, is “every spirit that dissolveth Jesus … .” I John 4:3.
In this case, however, the Vatican’s representative seemed compelled and honored to embrace this blasphemy — this spirit that dissolves [voids] the Truths of Jesus — in the very place where the Prince of Peace was born.
What was the blasphemy and who was the creator of it? Unlike the prideful and occult scientist of Clonaid who everyone knows is not well in her head, the person who spewed forth these statements disguises himself as a man to be respected, a man of God, a man who claims he believes in the spiritual Truths Jesus taught.
But does he?
Let his statements speak for themselves:
“Blood has been flowing in your cities and streets, but the key to solving this conflict is in your hands. By your actions so far you have crushed the Palestinian people … .”
In addressing an empty chair where the infidel muslim leader of Palestine, the terrorist Yasser Arafat was to be seated as a “guest of honor,” this supposed representative of the Lord and the Vatican said:
“We wish you were with us tonight, and we call on God to give you the wisdom and the power under this siege to continue your mission toward peace and justice.”
Who is the person who made these statements?
None other than the Roman Catholic Latin patriarch of the Holy Land, Michel Sabbah.
When and where did he deliver these words of support to those who kill innocent civilians and children?
Why none other than at the Midnight Mass he celebrated at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem where Christ the King of Peace was born!
“We will continue to demand our freedom and dignity … , Sabbah told his Palestinian audience, “and an end to the occupation.”
Wasn’t this what the people of Israel were demanding that Jesus accomplish when He walked the Earth? An end to the Roman occupation of their homeland.
And how did Jesus respond? He told the people of Israel to take up their weapons, for children to become suicide bombers, and mothers to rejoice at the spilled blood of their sons for they will be martyrs in Paradise for killing the Roman occupation forces!
No, we don’t think He said that. It was something more along the lines of “Render unto caesar what is caesar’s and unto God what is God’s!”
Apparently, the patriarch of the Holy Land — the “official” Vatican representative — does not comprehend the words of the One whom he claims to ultimately represent.
Apparently, the patriarch of the Holy Land — a man who represents the King of Peace — deems it to be politically correct to justify the “blood” “flowing” in the streets of Israel and Bethlehem because of the “occupation.”
Apparently, the Roman Catholic official of the Vatican in one of the world’s most severe flashpoints for World War III hopes God will assist Yasser Arafat — the father of terrorism as we know it in the world today — with “wisdom and power” to continue his “mission.”
Apparently, the head of Catholicism’s representation in the Holy Land does not seem to comprehend the historical roots of the Holocaust and the continued propaganda against Jews by men like Arafat. Does this not make him out of touch with his own temporal and spiritual leader, Pope John Paul II?
Apparently, the patriarch of the Holy Land — who as a priest officiated at the Mass celebrating the Birth of the Prince of Peace — does not read the news accounts of moslems who are taught to kill children attending services to worship Jesus. As the moslem cleric implicated in this latest assault stated, “It is the duty of every moslem to kill Christians.”
Apparently, Michel Sabbah suffers from short-term memory loss as it was not Israeli troops who defiled the Church of the Nativity earlier in the year by storming it with weapons, but it was Palestinian gunmen who laid siege to the locked doors of the Lord’s birthplace. We will not speak here of what the gunmen did inside the Church when nature called.
Apparently, the patriarch has also forgotten that Bethlehem was not occupied by Israeli forces after the town was ceded to the Palestinian Authority under terms of a peace agreement in 1995. Perhaps he has no knowledge that suicide bombers originating in Bethlehem this last year have brought Israeli soldiers into the town to end their indiscriminate killings.
Apparently, Sabbah also suffers from long-term memory loss that his “guest of honor” is the same man who ordered a handicapped American Jewish citizen be tossed from a cruise ship in his wheelchair to drown in the ocean several decades ago. Or that “his excellency,” as Sabbah addressed him, is the man behind the assassination of innocent Israeli athletes during the terror-filled 1972 Olympics.
Hmm. We wonder if God will give the blessing the patriarch requested the Lord to bestow on the father of terrorism at the Christmas Eve Mass?
Or we wonder if God is looking at us all and wondering how much more we, as Catholics, and believers in the Prince of Peace, will tolerate among our leaders!
How long we will tolerate the foot-dragging of our bishops and cardinals when it comes to heretical and immoral priests, bishops or cardinals?
How long we will tolerate the politically correct attitude of our hierarchy to not interfere with men in positions of power — like Michel Sabba — who condone and cuddle terrorists?
How long we will tolerate the Vatican looking the other way when it comes to terror in the name of religion?
How long we will tolerate the false claim that islam is a “religion of peace”?
How many Masses we will see Michel Sabba officiate at, not in honor of the King of Peace, but in deference to the father of terrorists and those who martyr themselves in the name of the “occupation”?
How long before we as a people clamor and insist that the Vatican
