This Story Is for the Birds!
There is so much to learn and infinite possibilities to explore.
The other night, we were watching one of those “science” channels on TV.
A lot of money and time goes into making these programs, especially since it’s obvious the production crew has to fly to a host of different destinations to get the on-scene story.
This one was about birds.
It was extremely enlightening.
The first thing we learned is that birds have a unique wing.
A scientist in Japan was filmed documenting his experiments with different wing shapes. The scientist, with his students, did critical research showing how the structure of a bird’s wing is essential to flight. (Imagine that; we would have never guessed it!)
The Japanese scientist first took feather-weight material that was hairline flat and placed it into a wind tunnel.
Everyone who knows anything about birds knows that a small skeletal structure maintains the feathers on the wing. (We guessed that part!)
In this wind experiment, the small skeletal structure was placed smack dab in the middle of the test material so that there was an equal amount of weight on either side of this critical wing support.
The scientist then turned on his modern wind tunnel.
The feather-weight flat material with the centered support had great difficulty maintaining itself in the wind.
There were several pieces strung together to imitate the way a bird’s feathers are designed one after the other. When the scientist increased the wind pressure, all five pieces undulated wildly, completely out of sync with each other.
It would be impossible for a bird to fly with this type of wing support.
The scientist and his students then did another experiment.
This time, the feather-weight hairline sheets had the skeletal support structure one-third of the way in, with two-thirds of the feathers on the other side.
This is the way a real bird’s wing is designed.
There was also another crucial change.
The material was now, instead of being completely flat, formed in an S shape, again, just like a real bird.
The scientist turned on his wind tunnel.
This time, the sheets of material floated gently in the air — and, even more amazingly, did so in synchronization.
The scientist and his students increased the wind velocity.
The material continued to “fly” easily in the chamber no matter how hard the velocity increased.
Scientists understood this to be a “natural” evolution of a bird’s wing so that today, birds, unlike mankind and other animals, have conquered every continent by flying vast distances and exist and breed everywhere in the world.
The scientists were very happy with themselves.
Then the show explained something that concerned the scientists because they could not explain it.
At first, scientists were very pleased when they found a fossil in Germany of what they believe is the world’s first bird!
The fossil has been “dated” to be 150 million years old. (And remember, this comes from “carbon-dating research” that cannot even ascertain how old a linen cloth is with the Image of Christ on it, as the idiots at the British Museum and their cohorts made a 1,300-year mistake on the Shroud of Turin!)
The scientists call this bird “archaeopteryx.”
The name is a mixture of Latin and Greek for “ancient bird” and/or “wing.” The finding of archaeopteryx’s fossils is not new, but more of the ancient bird’s remains have been discovered allowing for comparative intensive studies with those found in China.
Science really does depend on the “global village” for its research to be valid (who cares if they’re murdering and torturing Christians; just give us your fossils)!
Some fossils of archaeopteryx yielded fantastic imprints of its ancient wing.
This is where it really gets good, because at the beginning of the show, scientists were in a dilemma as to whether birds “evolved” from lizards or dinosaurs.
Those who believe in the lizard “theory” claim that the scales of these reptiles evolved into feathers over millions of years as the reptile learned to leap from tree to tree in search of new food.
The basic problem for this theory, however, is that not only are lizards cold-blooded and our feathered friends warm-blooded, but there has never been found ONE PIECE OF ANY FOSSIL EVIDENCE SHOWING ANY CONNECTION WHATSOEVER BETWEEN LIZARDS AND BIRDS!
That, of course, is just a small problem and did not stop the producers of this program from having an artist show an elaborate cartoon-like movie depicting the evolution of lizard scales into bird wings.
The artist was very good.
We think that, in light of the fact there is no physical evidence to support this “evolutionary” change, there is a good motto for these scientists to adopt who believe in the lizard “theory.”
The motto comes from a famous magazine and goes like this: “what, me worry?”
The dinosaur theory, however, is all the more intriguing because here you have these gigantic creatures who inexplicably died out and no one knows why, except some “scientists” who promulgate the “a-comet-came-from-outer-space, crashed-into-the-Earth, and-destroyed-all-major-forms-of-life” theory.
This event, according to those who espouse it, happened approximately, based on that “exact” science known as “carbon dating,” 65 million years ago.
The problem is archaeopteryx is 150 million years old.
So dinosaurs evolving into birds has a slight disconnect in this time scenario.
The other problem is, while everyone in the scientific community seems to give mucho credence to the comet or meteor striking the Earth theory and destroying the dinosaurs, no one — at least not to our knowledge — seems to account for why mankind (don’t forget, according to evolutionists, we were just barely evolving from apes back then) and birds SURVIVED this “doomsday” event.
After all, if this comet or meteor caused a gigantic dust cloud that covered the Earth for one day, one week or whatever time frame one wants to give, if it could kill the dinosaurs, shouldn’t it also have deprived birds of the same oxygen, sunlight, food, etc.?
Oh, well, that’s just a “minor” problem.
Maybe the birds and ape-like people had designer dust masks back then and we just haven’t found fossils of them yet!
We have another suggestion for the scientists that conflicts with the comet/meteor theory and explains why dinosaurs died, while mankind and other species such as birds survived:

But the real problem with the “dinosaurs-evolved-into-birds” theory is that it shares the same similar disconnect of the lizard theory, because, as the scientists admit, they do not have ONE PIECE OF ANY FOSSILIZED EVIDENCE SHOWING ANY CONNECTION WHATSOEVER BETWEEN DINOSAURS AND BIRDS!
We’re sure you won’t be surprised if you’ve read this far when we tell you that that little fact did not stop the producers of this program from having an artist elaborately draw motion frames to show dinosaurs evolving into birds!
The artist was very good.
We tried this type of artistic “scientific” research on our bank the other day when we showed the teller an elaborate drawing of the money in our account going from three digits to thousand of digits. The teller seemed too intelligent to accept our “theory” of how money “evolved” from just a few dollars in our account to our proposed millions!
We guess we are not very good artists.
As we watched this fascinating program on the “evolution of birds,” the producers saved the best information — as we have — for last.
It came from an extremely brilliant scientist (and we are not being facetious here; he really was plain ol’ smart!)
This scientist took photographs of archaeopteryx’s fossilized wings and blew them up into extremely large sizes so details of the feathers could be examined!
The scientist was amazed.
When he compared the 150-million-year-old bird’s feathers and wings with any of today’s, he made an outrageous discovery:
The wings and feathers of a bird have NOT changed since the known beginning of the species!
Feathers and wings are exactly the same on any bird of today as any specimen of archaeopteryx.
In fact, birds have another peculiar trait not found in dinosaurs or lizards.
Birds have hollow bones so that when they breathe, the air is absorbed not only into their lungs but into their skeletal structure helping them to achieve lift!
Needles to say, scientists were extremely laudatory to the work of this researcher who discovered that the wings and feathers of a bird have not changed for 150 million years — since the very beginning of the species!
The program ended on a somber note that until more research is done, the “puzzling” question of how birds “evolved” will remain.
As the credits rolled and showed beautiful birds soaring through the air, the researchers stated that there are more than 9,000 species of birds throughout this planet — all with the same S wing structures and hollow skeletons.
Interestingly, it did not seem to bother those who believe in “evolution” that despite the fact — as they themselves have proven — a bird’s ability to fly has not changed since the first winged creature took flight does not speak well for their “theory” (“abstract reasoning; speculation; an assumption or guess based on limited knowledge,” as the dictionary defines it).
Is there anyone out there who believes in “evolution” who can then explain why in over 150 million years there have been NO CHANGES in a bird’s wing (especially after the comet/meteor event)?
If evolution is true, surely there must be SOMETHING that needed correction!
Unless, of course, that is not so.
There is, however, a different possibility outside the realm of “evolution” as to why a bird’s wing has not changed since the beginning of time.
Could it be that a bird’s wings have been perfect from the beginning?
And if they were perfect from the beginning, then how could birds have evolved from dinosaurs or lizards since to do so would mean great experimentation and failure before the success of 9,000 species?
We think we know the answer to this complex problem — and the further “scientific” (Latin for “producing knowledge”) perplexing problem as to where over
30 million species that inhabit this Earth come from as well.
We think it’s already written down.
We think what has been written down has produced the essential “knowledge” (or “science”) mankind needs to live, especially in light of the fact that our bodies will one day be nothing but dust.
It’s just that the “evolutionists” don’t want to accept it.
We do.
